I feel like the plus makes the actual game sadder. These four girls were able to settle differences and become amazing friends. Then one guy comes and gets them killed/corrupted. I love the end shot of the four of them in a zoom call just being friends.
Im happy to remind you that the side stories arent prequels to the original game. Its a completely different universe where our character does not physically exist and where Monika does not acquire the knowledge of the world being a simulation.
I love the added artworks in the end more than I can express. It's the only canon thing that satisfies my need to know if these fictional characters are still alright and talking
I can't have the Halloween one even though I have used the word "horror" for many times in Act 1 and 2. Besides I play the game with my computer... Could you know how to fix this problem ?
Yeah I’m in the same boat. Keep getting the “Happy Thoughts” poem, the dream about a joke, and the “Can you hear me?” poem. I need the dream about being in a warehouse and the “I like it when papa _____” Tired of completely resetting from Act 1…
@@kylep007 After talking with a few people on Reddit and Xbox, we came to the conclusion that the patch may have messed something up. I sent an email to Serenity Forge asking them to look into it. I’ll update here if they reply.
first go into settings and press ‘skip unseen text’, then wait for monkia to start talking and press skip. She’ll make fun of you for skipping and shortly makes you unable to skip
During Act 2, open the game as many times as you can until you get the ghost menu (It’ll take a while), after you get that press any button and Monkia’s face will close in before the game closes itself out
@@theshire9173 If you thought that was bad, special poems were bugged for the 40 hours I spent attempting to get them all, and I didn’t even know there was a bug. Luckily they put out a patch and I now have 100%
I play on nintendo switch and the horror one is impossible to get even if I choose the word horror and act 1 and 2 while doing the yuri rout. Is there any way tk fix this?
After ddlc gets deleted you reboot it or how whatever you call it and delete monika's character file in the plus files in characters and start a new game so sayori gets a breakdown-
when you get the ghost menu, don’t close the application or game. Press any button and Monkia’s face will get close until the game itself closes, then check your photos
@@gdiced did you do anything special to get different poems to show up? I keep replaying the game but I keep getting the same 3 random poems each time.
@@goobbludon1774 u just gotta keep replaying i also got a secret poem but it doesnt count its the full picture of happy thoughts nothing really special though.
@@gdiced yeah, I keep getting that Happy Thoughts as well. That and the same 2 poems. It seems to not want to give me anything else right now lol. Did you keep replaying until the credits or did you restart the whole game before Yuri dies?
You have to achieve the "true ending". Normally if you only focus on one girl and go through the game, you get Monika's letter. However, when you play the game in the beginning, save your game at the very first poem game, then continue to focus on one girl. Before you see Sayori's death scene where the MC says "I gently open the door", save the game at that spot, then load the first poem game and focus on another girl. Keep going until you've seen all the cutscenes for all the girls, then go with the game as usual. Im not sure if you need to do this again for Natsuki and Yuri for act 2, but I did it anyways. Also, you need to see Monika's CG in act 3 for this to count towards the true ending. Just dont delete her too early and spend some time with her in act3. Hope this helps!
