dont know if you figured it out later but the trio took less damage because of the AOS/movie heroes condition which gives extra damage reduction and support and the second death is because cell max debuffs and buffs himself massively by that point so as a unit reliant on a lot of defense that cuts them up
34:00 that attack happened at 23 ki. Thats why the next passive super wasn't activated. You have to be at 24 ki when the attack is first started, even if you get to 24 ki after. So in order to get the next super under 24 ki, the first attack has to be at 22 or 23 ki. That attack will push you to 24ki, then if the 70% additional is a normal, youll get the additional super at 24 ki
thats not necessarily true , teq broly if you still havent built him up , if you usuper at 23 ki you will still action break. most characters work like you say for example like the 8th year LRs.

20:00 you need to remember they stack def on usuper for 3 turns , so compared to first attack before ever supering in battle , after super on their 2nd appearance they have 2X their slot 1 turn 1 def.
This Gohan has also good synergy with side banner unit of ssj trio when vegeta exchanges his second turn he creats full phy orb field ideal for Gohans standby
13:13 What I've been saying. TEQ UI is surprisingly tanky as a slot 2 unit. Which is why I believe it's optimally where he should be considering the amount of godly slot 1s in his teams.
The Trio need to get hit before they get that massive defense raise from the orbs. Basically if the enemy supers right away like Cell Max does, they can die cause they technically only have the SOT defense + 45% DR. But if you get hit and you got about 9 orbs before you got hit, you would get like idk a million more defense or some shit like that. The Trio are good defense but they are RNG reliant.
They do not need to get hit. It works exactly like Fusion Zamasu where an attack just needs to be aimed at them. They can even dodge the attack and they will still have the defense
23:19 They didn't have the 80% defense from their Ultra Super effect, plus the 240% defense based on their Ki meter isn't taken into account before they take at least 1 attack, so they are most vulnerable slot 1 on the first attack of the turn... Which just so happens to be where they got absolutely destroyed.
Hey Goresh, I doubt you’ll see this, but if you want longer stages then try going into Burst Mode and set their defence, health, and damage reduction to max.

I would get the trio. They're support is so good along with their standby. Gohan is pretty great too but if I had to choose I would go with the trio. Good luck and hopefully you pull one so you can have both.
i have no explanation as to how you took so much damage at 23:00 they can take like no damage from Goku and Freeza's super attack before attacking and they hit harder
I’ve seen this happen a few times now on different showcases where the damage received for them makes NO sense and fluctuates wildly. What is going on lol
@@haloandavatar1177 they have a movie hero category ally on the turn so their extra DR was active i have no idea what happened maybe the unit is bugged?
@Neli2789 turn 1 pre super they are incredibly susceptible to taking damage, especially from str enemies. Both cell max and the new intensifying fights gohan have given them a lot of trouble for me
Sounds like you might be new, welcome to Dokkan! Gohan's best team would be with the new PHY Super Saiyan Goku, Gohan, and Trunks as a leader. As a new player I would focus on trying to pull them

Yes but you will have to be careful with them. They are okay against normal attacks but supers will do a lot of damage. Nothing items can't fix though 🫡
I really dont understand how the PHY Trio go from 1 million damage pre super to only 45K post super. Is that a bug????? Its just a greatly raise of def on super right???
Also at 14:41 the Trio didn't have an All-Out Struggle ally or a Movie Hero ally so they didn't have their 2 turn support or their extra damage reduction

I rainbowed him this last anni, i think he can be powered by the phy trio but i still need to test him. He might still be playable vs normals with his 1 mil def, especially when he still has his guard. At 55% tho, he's not really great but maybe with the trio he can still live normals
