A scene from the movie UNBROKEN 2014 Input: PCM 2 ch Output: For best results set your ATMOS enabled receiver to either: Dolby Surround 7.1 ch, or Extended Stereo 7.1 ch
Never said it was on YT that I first saw Atmost demo so I don’t no what you guys are referring too. Any idiot knows You cant get a real Atmos demo on YT or Amazon.
Nice thing is loads of those, examples from DTS to ATMOS are put on You Tube but You Tube itselfs give indeed just stereo output. If the signal isnt't "real" ATMOS the sound samples are just devided and sampled to your upward speakers. If u want to test your system get some movies who actually have ATMOS or DTS or other multi channel sound on them.
Dolby surround is for artificial atmos or surround. For real atmos set your pc or player to atmos not 2.0 pcm and make sur your receiver show atmos in the panel to have real atmos sound effects
@Dayal Singh , you're missing the whole point of Dolby Atmos by talking about 7.1. That's not Dolby Atmos, that's 7.1 surround. 7.1 means 7 horizontal directional channels plus one Low Frequency channel (the 0.1 channel). In Dolby Atmos there is the vertical position information added to the mix. It makes a huge difference to the feeling of immersion to have the illusion of verticality added to the soundscape. To properly listen to a Dolby Atmos (or any other so-called immersive audio format) track, the following things have to be made sure of: - The material played is actually playing a Dolby Atmos audio track - The playback device is set to play Dolby Atmos audio out from its audio output - There's a Dolby Atmos -capable speaker system playing the signals coming from the playback device OR - There's a binaural headphones-based playback decoding enabled ("Dolby Atmos for Headphones" is one) I hope I made myself clear enough.
@HipHopGamer92 That's exactly what I've been trying to tell everyone, I have the setup you're talking about with an Atmos capable receiver and I may not experience the true Atmos effects but I can certainly feel the surround effects. Of course RU-vid does not facilitate Atmos or surround for that matter, but it's whether your receiver is capable and setup properly to ultimately decode the sound into surround. Furthermore, try downloading the track and use VLC to listen to it.
I also thought, that RU-vid only output 2 channels Stereo, but since last week I know that's not true. I found many clips with 6 channels, you can check the channels with this tool: www.h3xed.com/blogmedia/youtube-info.php
@@MD-Design Interesting - also this video. I was able to also download the audio of this video with RU-vid-dl and it really is 6ch. Same for one video uploaded already in 2012, but this new quality option must have become available recently and RU-vid just retains the original files on the servers. However most devices/browsers will probably default to 2ch and not select the highest quality audio.
Where do I get a movie with dolby atmos to watch? In which device do I reproduce it? I think that the implementation of this is very complicated and costs a lot of money
This is not atmos. I own a denon x4500 and im only getting stereo from this video. you need to get the movie or find and download the real demo to get the full effect.
@@lekWehb I understand that it came from the disc. I also have the disc. The problem is that as of now RU-vid does not offer any support for Dolby atmos. Once you uploaded this to RU-vid, it became stereo.
Converted it (the original track) to Dolby Digital + 896kbits/s (EAC)und Dolby Digital 640kbits/s (AC) and for testing to OPUS 500 k/bits and AAC 320kbits) and compared every channel over a spectrometer and even put those converted decompressed channels inverted over the original channels.->almost no difference in objektiv comparisan (so small that i had to crank up volume to 800% to get what has been compressed) , and subjektiv, i don´t here any difference. So the "Lossless" Formats are just marketing and a waste of space. Stick to a good Dolby Digital+ Record if you need the 3d effect, for everything else use 640 kbits/s, and before u comment, do this test by yourself. Thank you!
A friendly advice, before making any embarrassing comments or posting embarrassing questions please read the description above. The movie name is clearly stated and the input is 2 channels, but the output can be up to 7.1 channels depending on what system you have setup. Here is an insight on what DOLBY ATMOS is: www.dolby.com/us/en/brands/dolby-atmos.html I am totally aware that RU-vid only outputs in stereo. I didn't upload this for you to experience Dolby Atmos on here, but to give you a hint on what Atmos may sound like if you are considering to upgrade to an Atmos capable receiver or managed to get hold of the demo disk to experience it's full potential. Now when I watch this on RU-vid I have my receiver set to 5.1.2 Ch including 2 Height speakers and to 'Dolby Surround' sound field and what I get is a satisfying clean output of virtual surround through all the speakers. Funny how hardly anyone asked how to get hold of the demo disk and even funnier how instead many asked questions like 'what's the name of the movie?' when it is clearly written in the description and displayed at the end of the clip and comments like 'this is not Atmos' or 'RU-vid only outputs in stereo'. Try to look on the positive side of things, like how clean the picture and sound are and having the privilege to watch it for free. I guarantee you'll appreciate the moment even more.
I don’t normally dislike videos. But the uploader must know RU-vid doesn’t support Atmos and is only stereo. So very misleading. If you want a good Atmos demo, google for it. The best I could find were a few small(ish) files a couple of minutes each long that I have on a usb stick, plugged into my Blu Ray player which plays them fine.
Not to mention in the description he recommends to set your receiver's output to extended stereo/multi-channel stereo... Which will completely ruin the staging and directionality of sounds effects in a surround or atmos mix. I'm surprised these videos he's uploaded don't have more dislikes.
@@lekWehb Because after my question I found the title for this film in my language and this moment was the moment when I realised that I saw this film a few years ago.Any question?Have a nice day
@@nomadblackangel1171 You are correct! It's a clip from a movie scene, so let me give you a couple of hints on what the movie name is. Watch the clip unti the very end, or read the brief description below. You'll definitely find the answer there. Now I ask you the same question. What is the name of the movie? :)
I am assuming you read English if you can make a request in English. I also assuming that you sometimes read the description of why you have arrived here and what was it you were more interested in. Who knows? They do say 'do not assume because if you assume you can make an ASS out of U and Me'. I'm not about to do that. If you took a bit of time to read the description or watched the entire clip you will notice that the name is visible in both places my friend. Hope you enjoyed watching the clip my friend

If you just sit back and watch it you'll find this is pure ENTERTAINMENT. If it was marketing you'd find me promoting whatever you think I'm marketing. If you want me to respond then ask a constructive question and I'll be happy to respond
3:44 i can actually with my professional lucasfilm ltd THX sound system cinema with Dolby Atmos 15.12.2/4/6/8 its highly complex and beyond at 40kw THX . i can make that plane pass underneath or below surround underneath real cinema rocker seats . try doing that
Dislike sorry but its not a true atmos decoding signal. Setting your avr to 7.1 or multichannel is only taking youtube 2 channel and up mixing. Untill we can upload a true file all the demos on youtube or not true atmos. Sorry guys.
@Dayal Singh No kidding and playing this through youtube is not gonna send the true signal to your AVR. It gonna be down sampled to 2 channel stereo. Doesn't matter if you put your AVR to 7.1, it's not the true atmos file.
Firstly , 7.1 isn't atmos. secondly, when I watch 4k bluray disc with real Dolby-athmos, my apartment is literally shaking at around -20 db. I was watching this crapy compressed video at -5 db and it wasn't even close to sound good.
