Such a superb setting. The way the hay, tobacco and sandalwood are done in this one definitely remind me of those same notes in the drydown of Chergui. Nearly exact in fact. Very easy to wear, and a step up from the current formulation of D&G Pour Homme imo.
Bought this 2 weeks ago. Cant understand why it gets such a slagging online. Its one of the great all rounders, wear anywhere in any season a bit like Chanel Bleu. I reach for it so often I have to stop myself as my other heavy weights from Dior, Tom Ford, Chanel , Armani, Paco etc are starting to gather dust. 10 years on from launch its being heavily discounted and is a steal . Im definitely buying a second in case Dand G discontinue.

Would this be similar or a replacement for the Dolce &Gabbana 'Refined Darkness'? I cannot find this scent anywhere anymore for my guy. It has the same cap and bottle.
It smells like I rubbed hundred dollar bills and Cuban cigars on myself in the teak and leather stateroom of my private yacht. This is quite a step up from my Axe body spray.
