Unfortunately, all the scents that I've tried with a "sea" note/Accord smell like really bad b.o. or cat urine off my skin. I've given away about 4-5 of these types of fragrances that I just keep trying but now realize that they just aren't for me
This literally smells exactly like sea water off of me, and in the worst way possible. It's depressing because I absolutely hate it but everyone else seems to think it's the perfect summer fragrance
Same here! The bitterness and sharpness just doesn’t do it for me. Surprisingly the women’s eau intense version smells amazing, to me it’s unisex and the compliments I get when I steal it from my wife are surprisingly good. I own most of the summer scents featured nowadays in channels and I’ve yet to find one that gets me more compliments than this one.
I decided to spray on a sample again after watching this video. I will admit I hate the smell of the opening and have always washed it off and put something else on every time I've tried it. I'll try to hit the dry down to give this a shot this time around because I am curious. It might very well just not work well with my skin chemistry. I blind bought the Sun flanker and sadly I don't think I'll ever wear it again after trying it twice.

There are better aquatics in this price range that are not so boring and not so synthetic: L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey, Aqva and Aqva Marine and Chrome Aqua. All are great dumb reaches and even signature scents during the Summer.
Light Blue Eau Intense was the second fragrance I bought, and even after acquiring a couple dozen more, it's still my dumb reach warm weather scent. The longevity is what makes the fragrance work for me. 10 hours on a hot day, even in direct sunlight, and in the shade, 12-14 hours, with an unsolicited compliment at hour 12, even when I myself could no longer smell it. No other fragrance I own can perform like that. A blue scent engineered simply but extremely well.
Every time I put this on, for the first 30 minutes, I resist the urge to immediately wash it off. It begins with a citrus bombshell which I find it hard to deal with. For the following 3-4 hours it's quite pleasant, the citrus remains relevant but slightly muted, combined with a marine salty vibe, it's good. In it's last phase, when it becomes mostly skin scent, it feels to me like a very synthetic, scratchy woody scent. I hate it. If anyone can tell what that is in the base notes I would love to know, so I can avoid it in my future purchases. Overall, while it has been a positive experience for me, I'll probably be looking to give my 200ml bottle away as soon as I find another fragrance that suits the really hot and humid summer. The search continues.

This smells so dirty to me. Very mineral like. Definitely smells like the ocean, including all the bad rotten stuff too. I hear it's a compliment magnet, but I can't understand who would want to smell like that. Light Blue Love is Love is a better smelling fragrance, but doesn't last as long.
I think what you are referring to is this bitter orange peel note which I also get. Its starting to bother me more and more... I switched to Swimming in Lipari, same DNA but without this strange bitter orange peel note.
It's not a beast mode fragrance. I would say moderate. But... If you're spraying too much you'll no longer smell it on yourself because you'll have nose fatigue. Better always avoid spraying everywhere. Nowadays I only do back of the neck and top of one hand and this is it
