Modeling is art , we can't just let everyone win because they have big social media followers. Would you let someone become a doctor just because they have large amount of social media followers. This is disrespectful to real model who have to casting after casting to get into shows.
Fashion industry in the end is about selling the fashion product, but yea, I understand what are you trying to say about Idealism and professionalism. This marketing strategy is blasphemy, but who really cares when their products sold out to these celebs fan base? D&G gave them prestige, and they gave D&G potential customers from their large fan base.
Don't compare being a doctor to being a model, I'm in first year of medicine, and do you know how much we have to go trough to be a doctor? How much effort, work, no sleep... ? I get so mad when people overrates us like this, like for real we save your lives, and models what do they have to go trough? Be attractive , know how to walk and work out? Like for real, you should apologize to doctors right know.

Well, if you informed yourself, this was not their "collections" but extra pieces they could not show in regular seasonal collections. The actual show of spring 18 is stunning. GETOVERIT. Their regular show was STUNNING and this was for a very small group of elite fashion editors using certain high profile millennials to show some pieces that they couldn't fit in the regular collections. It comes off as "disorganized" because it was quite literally a squeezed in off the cuff special showing in secret so they were trying intentionally to not make it seem planned. Don't like it then just fuck off and don't watch!
