Best auto coffee pod machine out there. If you buy metal reusable pods you can grind your own favourite beans 👌 and brew that coffee, or use the ready made filled pods. It’s a win win for coffee lovers. Had it two weeks and adore it. It sits alongside my traditional Gaggia Baby Gaggia espresso machine.
Thanks for the video . I just both the same one today in red . A few points about it that I’ll add is as follows: 1-You need to wash the water container with soap and warm water 2-you need to use filtered water or mineral water if your want your machine to last longer also it requires less scaling than when using tap water 3- I let clear water run through it 6 times ( 6 full containers) on hor water mode as I heard the coffee tasted like plastic even after 3 times clearing. Give it time to rest in between as the machine can start getting hot. 4- Since this one has no button to switch off like the other models, I waited a while after my first coffee was done and it switches off automatically . Therefore it’s a hazard for little kids. Please keep it out of reach as one push of the button and you get scaling hot water. 5- It’s so much better than the Mini Me version. Although I preferred the older version that I replaced and I got over 6 years ago and has a bigger tank. Yes the water tank here is 800 ml only .
Water can be stopped at any time by pressing the cup button! And by turning it off at the wall switch a child wouldn’t be able to scald themselves. Parental supervision and responsibility is at fault, not the machine.
Thank you for uploading this video as the instructions are abit confusing so really appreciate this as just setting mine up I know I’ve to rinse it first at least 1 if not a few times and this was really helpful and easy to follow ❤️❤️❤️
Hi! Would you recommend the Genio S+ compared to Mini Me? And does the Genio S+ makes hotter coffee? I’m planning to buy soon and I’m torn between the two, help sis ♥️ thanks
Any capsule would do for the cold water option (just for the coffee capsule not the milk capsule) but for the cold brew capsule only the cold function will work it doesnt taste nice when u do it in warm water
Hi yes it doesn’t have only start/stop button. It’s an automatic coffee machine, it will automatically turn off after 1 minute of inactivity. This machine has an A rating in energy consumption actually. :)
Isn’t the white plastic on the drip shelf meant to be peeled off? I just got my machine and it started to peel off when I took the plastic cello tape tabs off so I think it’s just there to protect it from getting scrapes
Hi yes it does, one commenter also told me about it and we didn’t take it off for like a month of using but it peeled a little so we just removed it but then I regretted it lol cause the metal doesnt look good now and it is so thin. You can totally keep it there if it doesnt bother you 🙂
which coffee flavours do you use espresso boost with? the capsules don't say. also what temperature are the capsules meant to be used on? the capsules don't say.
I found some mistakes in this review. First, never put tap water 🚱, because it is hard water and not long after your machine will be broken. Only filtered or bottled water. Second, on the rinsing cleaning process in the beginning, you should keep the rinsing plastic pod. It's not necessary but is preferable. Also, the first rinsing with hot water should be 2 times in a row, and then you are ready to use the machine. The third thing I noticed is that you put the small glass on the bottom instead on the higher stand, and your coffee is spreading all over the machine because of that 😅. Over all, good review 👏 👌 👍
Hi if you have initially set it to hot, i noticed the machine will boot to hot option. However “Cold” option is not actually really cold also with the Mini Me. It is like normal water temp. We always put ice for cold coffees :)
