The fact that Mattel refuses to elevate barbie clothing and body articulation, is a tale of greed.

I hope more of off-brand, no-brand and fake doll unboxings and reviews this year, they are so fun!

it’s kinda funny how nowadays the only time Mattel gives barbie nice quality/designed clothes is for the BarbieStyle instagram feed or just for the BarbieStyle line in general (which are $100) bc then I’m like…..OH! so they CAN make nice Barbies, they just don’t want to make them playline or affordable, and just that fact makes Mattel so dark sided and nasty 😭

I heard rumors on Amazon about the 8 pack Fashion Set. Most people were ticked off because there were only 4 packages that resembles the outfits, but one bag includes the shoes, another bag includes the accessories, and the other 2 bags includes the outfits, which I think was very interesting.

Not the single layer of tulle for a tutu 😭 OBSESSED with the Alwayz Bratz!! They’re ARTICULATED!! And Venus is stunning!

It’s an end of era with regards to our beloved Rainbow high dolls I already went Thur the emotion on the bright side my credit card would finally get a break, it was great while it lasted 😢

Another great vid:) Are Mattel not embarrassed at the clothing and Doll quality. The extra money they generated due to the Barbie Movie clearly hasn't been put back into their products. MGA are the clear winners in terms of offering quality products decent 'for 2024' price points. I'm so excited for the new Alwayz Bratz, I hope to also see new Bratz Boyz too! xo

I really do wish that Mattel would listen to you when it comes to Barbie!

The past few years I’ve been doing something called the Angel Tree. It’s where you get choose a wish list from this Christmas tree (set up in malls and stores) and buy the kid you choose some clothing items and some toys for Christmas. When I chose my kid in 2022 very few kids asked for Barbie’s but when I chose a kid this past Christmas every other girl over the age of like, 5 was asking for a Barbie. It was just wild to see the change in what kids wanted. I noticed quite a few boys that wanted Mario legos or games too.

I think it would be really funny if you took a look at those pregnant Steffi Love dolls and maybe compare one to Midge. Steffi Love has a hilarious amount and variety of pregnant fashion dolls. I want the Venus Mcflytrap, but who knows when that one will be available in Germany. We're some kind of doll desert it feels like. I dislike the Rainbow High reboot on principle because they discontinued the one doll from that line that I own a variant of. Poor Poppy.

Thank you for making this. I love the new Bratz range especially Yasmin and Chloe. I've started collecting them this year because Barbie sadly hasn't (with the exception of Fashion Photo PJ - A gorgeous supertar era repro) had much to offer. Oh Mattel, please listen to the excellent advice given here and start making quality Barbies again. It's sad for us who love Barbie so much.

I saw someone open the groovy color reveal & they have saran hair...but good ole..Mattel also has pixelated faces. So FYI on that. 😊

To be fair about the 65th anniversary doll the pic we got is a prototype pic so we don’t yet know what the final outcome of this design will actually look like. I’m waiting to see the actual doll before I decide whether to get her or not

Monster high and Bratz are SOOO COOL ,I also love some of the Barbies ,they’re so cute.

I got Skyler yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Also, I wish we could get some articulated arms on Model Muse (I like their sturdy legs).

The anniversary Barbie has a gorgeous Brooklyn variant, and the stock photo makes her braids look super full and voluminous.

Not gonna lie, I'm already in love with the new Skylar doll. I really hope Rainbow High won't go down the Barbie route where we have to be grateful about high heels, details that aren't just printed on and Barbie actually being, you know, Barbiecore.

I bought a Slime Sunny doll and scraped the glitter off her face. She's okay. I like her soft makeup. i didn't bother removing the slime paraphernalia or the pet from the packaging, and I have zero interest whatsoever in getting more from that line. Regarding hair quality, it's still nylon, although Sunny has a ton of tinsel.

Venus looks awesome but I HATE what they did to her pet. I've noticed the more unique pets of Monster High keep being changed into more normal pets (they turned Count Fabulous into a cat for crying out loud). Why?!

Im so glad bratz is coming back so now we could possibly have something to force barbie to actually up her game because jesus christ so many of these are just BAD

I don’t know if you’ve seen this doll but it is called My First Barbie. It’s larger than regular Barbie and has the clicking knees. It wasn’t with the Barbies. It was with younger children’s toys. I have a photo but can’t add it here.

If Mattel refuses to give Barbie the typical articulation, then at least take a page out of the Japan book and make it wire articulation. They did the my first Barbie with those! Do people have to perform sacrifices to even get good Barbie dolls nowadays, Sheesh

I saw the Chinese new year barbie at Barnes and noble book store she was $75

10:28 The mermaids are cute, i like their hairs but it would be more interresting if their tails were differents. Maybe the first Barbie have a dolphin tail and the other a sword-fish tail? More variety and creativity with sparkles and details on the fins. I don't collect dolls but if i did, i won't buy thoses two. I had a mermaid doll with brown skin when i was 12. My mom gave it for my brithday. I loved her! Would often played with her in my bath, her arms and tail could bend; her hair was purple. She was beautiful! One day, i looked everywhere for her in my room and asked my mother. She said '' I gave your doll to the poors, they deserved it more than you! '' First, yes BUT she could gave them my Bratz (I didn't liked her as much as the mermaid) Second, it's a bit cruel! She gave my gift to another kid. I will never see my doll again! I hope the kid was happy and took well care of her 🙂

I know there might not be enough information yet about My Scene, but I can't wait to hear any crumble of newsr elated to this dolls. Personally, I feel like 2024 is giving us a lot of 2004 with all the Bratz and My scene return. I am very excited . I Also think that Barbies are not that amazing now, since they retired the extra and rewind line. As for the New Bratz, i think they’re absolutely stunning, my fav’s def Yasmin, and my least fav is probably jade… The Venus is really cool, i think even better than the gen1 one. Now for Rainbow High, i’m Also really underwhelmed, what happened? But as always, everything Good must come to An end…

What's up with Mattel and their obsession with ballerina dolls? Especially the ones with molded bodices. Like they receive the Disney Princesses license and instantly release ballerinas???

I really hope that fashion pack is as good a quality as you say. I'm tired of spending money on clothes that are so flimsy that the holes from the stays are still visible in the clothes a month later.

I got a reproduction Felicia Bratz recently who is so gorgeous and I found someone selling the Jimmy Paul Pride set with everything except the Roxxi doll, so I have Felicia in that outfit and they’re a cute couple.

Joey, definitely check out the "knock-off" Barbie dolls Defa Lucy. They basicaly made a rip-off Barbie Extra and Barbie Fashionistas and the quality is actually way better than Barbie. Like wtf 😭

I did see the 65th anniversary farmer doll on the shelf, along with the popstar and astronaut. Very disappointed in the printed details. The dolls themselves are cute, especially the astronaut since she has a bob cut like the original. I watched an unboxing of the Claudia Sheffard doll. She's a nice doll, but her quality felt subpar for a platinum label. Great vid for dolls to look forward to! ❤

When i was a kid Barbie doll dress packs were no more than $10 now they're like $30 that's a lot for like a few dresses and some shoes

The Lunar New Year doll is quite good, but i miss something. 2024 is the Dragon's year so something dragon-themed? Maybe? The Claudia Schiffer doll looks scrary to me. The new Rainbow High is a big NO..Slime an glitter on face...No thanks The Bratz and Monster high are great and the Fashion pack too. So i don't give up...😄 There are more than just printed or painted clothes!🤩

I’m very disappointed in the RH dolls,i kinda just started collecting them and now theyre going out 😢 Even if they are aiming at a younger audience, is there some unwritten rule small children only want tacky garbage?? I love dolls I have a lot of doll's

I don't like that a lot of the newer Barbie dolls have painted on clothes or clothes that aren't removable. I used to avoid those dolls at all costs when I was younger. I went to Walmart the other day and decided to check out the doll section out of curiosity and was so disappointed with the quality of the dolls today.

Thanks for asking for suggestions.Maybe do an old school ranking videos..maybe with all the rupunzel dolls ..very curious to know wich is your favourite always debate on this one ..or rank all the lovely "court princess" dolls or every princess line there ever has been since there have been many throughout the years. Or Maybe chat about certain dolls you had as a child and maybe story behind them..we grew up around same time so its always fun to look back to childhood n can relate to that time and i like looking back at the good quality and themes they used to go for.
