For your first doll repaint she turned out amazing. Though most of the time you can skip a few places in the reroot because the yarn is so thick. Or you could have unraveled it to make it thinner. Overall she is very beautiful. I love her dress i wish i could make doll clothing. Should really do more of these.

I get what you're saying with unravelling the yarn but with this yarn it wasn't possible. But I did want to use it as it has such beautiful colors throughout. This particular yarn has a thread running though it so it doesn't fall apart. Which works fine if you keep the yarn together. Once you pull it apart the entire strand falls apart. Every strand has a knot at the end so that doesn't happen 😀 it was my first doll and quite proud of her. Few more in the making!!

@@DollsUnboxed I love rerooting dolls. So far I’ve done half a dozen reroots….only two completed dolls though. Im not yet game enough to try a repaint, my drawing and painting skills aren’t very good. Im enjoying making new outfits/costumes, rerooting and love rejuvenating old dolls i found at the opshops.

for a first this is absolutely amazing!! from the thumbnail i thought you must have been an already experienced doll makeover ytuber but to learn this is a first is phenomenal especially showcasing your other artistic talents through the video! definitely continue, you’re great and the editing style was very calming to me :)
