Dryer lint makes the best fire starter in the world. A ziploc bag full weighs almost nothing, crushes down very small and costs nothing! We also keep a large jar full with our survival gear.
Great video. As an older person, this is helping me alot. Next, can you please show us the easiest ways to have a fire to cook on? Most videos are geared towards you young people with lots of strength. I wd like to see info about fires, cooking, camping, packing a backpack, meds, first aid, etc for older folks. And also for people with disabilities. Thank you very much for these very good product suggestions. Keep up the good work. It is much needed!!
I would love to do some basic camping/fire/cooking videos in the future. We are at the peak of wildfire season right now so it will be a few more months until we can get into that.
I have a handful of those knorr sides. They are cheaper than freeze dried meals. lol you’re only missing the burrito wraps. Then you would have a complete hiker meal 😂 my guilty pleasure is jalapeños in a jar 🫙 mixed in them.
Love wraps or pita bread in the hot months, less of a gut bomb than bread.... little PB and J rolled up with an apple, great hot weather lunch! Mmm yeah jalapenos! I have been eating a ton of pickled jalapenos on just about everything lately, the Mt Olive ones are really good and have a bit of crunch!
Man! So good to find this! I remember watching your CS tomahawk videos when they first come out on the...szeuki (spelling) channel. Wonderful to see you are still going with all this! Just subscribed!
My question is this: Why doesn’t the dollar store sell dollars?…… I’ve bought similar items that you showed. The packaged tuna or chicken comes in handy. ✌️🇺🇸
I have no idea why they do not stock dollars, guess its about the same reason I have never seen a yard for sale at yard sales.... they do have a pretty good selection of camp/pack size food for sure!
Added to my Dollar Store Survival Challenge playlist. Dollar store's do provide good resources in many scenarios, thank you for sharing you choices on a food-focus :)
I put a couple bug out backpacks together with items from the dollar store. I have fire starter squares and the jute, need to go through them maybe and make sure I have some food items and I don’t have a way to filter some clean water. Any tips for filtering water? I’ve seen that life straw but not sure what’s the best thing to invest in to filter water that’s easy to carry?
