I don't agree that this is "too much work" and outweighs the cost of pre-made items. Just because something is from the dollar store, doesn't mean you want it to look tacky, or fall apart in five seconds. I feel like you are creating something that you will be able to use for at least a year + if not longer. Taking your time on a DIY doesn't mean that out-ways costs. I think this is awesome, and a cool project for moms to do with teens for their room, for people to put up in an office, etc. yeah, there are things that I, myself, would tweak, but that's how I am with most DIYs. Changing it to my personal preference. Don't let anyone make you question why you're doing what you're doing.
+Breanna Heuszel aawe thank you so much! This just made my day!! I really work hard on my diy's I refuse to put something that is not decorative or useful. I think that's the reason why I take a little longer to upload. Like you said I don't want it to fall apart. Every crafter is different and I respect them and I learn so much from everyone. It makes me so happy to know that some mothers are doing hands on crafts with their children. It is so therapeutic and and fun to. Every person is creative and we all have amazing ideas! I respect everyone's opinion and I try not to let it get to me although it's hard sometimes. But the good outweighs the bad and that makes me want to work even harder thank you thank you so much!!
