I also, share a story of a health scare that my mother had this past week and how she is doing.
We had a scary incident while shopping at Walmart and the Walmart Employees were so very helpful and kind.

It is so difficult to see our moms have health problems. What a blessing she is okay. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer during the height of the pandemic. She was in Florida and I’m in PA. I couldn’t go to the hospital to see her due to C-id restrictions. After her surgery, she went to rehab for 4 months where no visitors were allowed, not even her oncologist. My beautiful mom passed away that August as she was not given any chemotherapy or radiation. I hold so much pain and grief about the situation. I wanted to be by her side to support her and wasn’t allowed to. She was only 70 years old.

Thank you for sharing your experience. TIA's can be so frightening. I'm grateful you were right there with your mom. How wonderful that you got great help from the employees. We all can use a reminder to show our love and concern for others.

How scary! I'm glad your mom is okay. Hopefully it's a one-off and she won't go through that again. I'm also glad that the right person was nearby to help you. He sounds like a good kid.

So scary. Thank goodness the people at Walmart had your back and were able to help and comfort you when this happened. I know you are a good person (your energy says a lot) and I'm sure those good people were there that day in that exact place to reflect the goodness you emit from your being, on a daily basis. I just got off the phone with my mom...she's 92 and always wondering why she's still here :( She misses my dad, and all of her friends and family have mostly passed. Would be nice for her to have another 90-something friend to talk to. She's still a very sharp woman. Glad your mom is doing well. By the way, I sent a package to you, it will be there Tuesday!

!!!! A package! Well thank you so much. I am sorry to hear about your mother. Sometimes my mother says the same things…..she has lost almost everyone she knew to death. She has two other children, my siblings. But they just aren’t around….probably for the best. They would probably just tell me I’m caring for her wrong or that she aging wrong or some other complete nonsense. They have not reached out to her with love or apologies or anything for many years. My mother is hard of hearing and has vision trouble and is still the strongest person I know. Hugs to you and your mother.

@@PicassoKatTreasures That is very sad. I have 2 older siblings. But we are all very close. None of us had kids...so no grandkids for mom :( But we take turns caring for her. That's why I go to Denver every 3 months. It's a tough situation....for all. You're lucky she lives so close!
