These sandwiches are great in a pinch. I eat them on the weekends and think they’re a great value. A little ketchup or a pickle will go a long way. Enjoy
Almost all fish are frozen immediately after they are caught, pretty much guaranteed you have eaten plenty of frozen fishes and you just don’t know it.
frozen is the safest way to get fish, it kills potential parasites which is why in the US, sushi restaurants are required to have their fish frozen at some point before it's served

i actually enjoy the fast bites spicy chicken sandwich.. when done i pull off the patty and dunk it in franks red hot then eat. i actually think its the best frozen item from dollar tree.
You can learn how to cook beans and lentils and brown rice and other simple recipes and save even more money. I’m sorry but even this frozen concoctions aren’t cheap considering their size and that because of the lack of nutrients just makes you hungry.

The Fish and Cheese one is definitely the best of the lot (and the only one I can stand to eat, really). Hydrolyzed corn protein is a flavor enhancer (yay, glutamic acid!), so it shouldn't affect the texture like TVP does.
How do you fuck up chili cheese dog? I know it's one buck, but that one seems the hardest to fuck up out of the 3, And the fish sandwich, which could go wrong in all of the ways, was actually pretty good. Stay classy, dollar tree.
I would pretty much not try any of these on Price alone. And like I said before there must be a gem at Dollar tree somewhere, like the sausage and eggs. I am glad to see that you came up with the result I would have expected.

The ones from 711 may be Very Much Not A Dollar but at least they are pretty good in a pinch. They just don't keep for more than 4 or 5 days but for what they are, literally that was a case of forgetfulness/neglect lmao

Thanks for reviewing these. The local DT has them but I'm not eating anything you haven''t reviewed first. I mean, not the actual one you reviewed. But ... nevermind! The McDs fillet of fish gets only a half slice of cheese, to cut costs. Why it has cheese at ALL has always mystified me and I used to work there. The fish buns get steamed in a special steamer thing so microwaving them is actually probably about the same result. And for the music, it's your channel: do the music you like.

Back as a mechanic, The Dollar Store was my lunch spot. The breaded Chicken was ok. The beef burger took me back to 1970s cafeteria burgers. I miss those burgers
As someone who worked as a MSC operator it is in fact meat... We would take all the meat and stuff off the bird and the remaining pieces that weren't worth the effort would go down with the chicken carcass and got ground up and we would add sodium nitrate and salt
Have you thought about taking one of these Fast Bites type sammiches and cooking them three ways?: baking (with the buns buttered and separated from the meat), frying and microwaving, so you can compare and contrast the methods of cooking/reheating to see what turns out the best results? I have a feeling that the microwave is not helping in making these products edible.
Erica Anderson The only thing green I want to eat is vegetables! I've noticed there is a green tint to certain processed meats. Not sure why but that's a quick way to keep me from eating it. Green food belongs in Dr. Seuss books.
A McDonald's McChicken is also a dollar. Even though it is also highly processed, I'd rather buy that and have it warm on the spot than buying one of these frozen sandwiches, which are likely worse in how many additives they have.
Great video...... i've actually tried these myself for the best result though. i never use the microwave for the fish or chicken. i deep fried them. it's 100 times better and it taste like a mcchicken sandwich/fish fillet that you would get at mcdonalds. i also toasted the buns on a skillet to give it a awesome taste.....
I love getting various versions of these for each $1.25 and using my food stamps to get $10 worth of dollar tree stoner munchies. Go home hit a bong and eat these one after the next. So delicious.
I get the fish sandwiches for work lunches sometimes. As you said they're cheap, edible, and they are fairly filling for the price. Not something I'd tell everyone to run out, and buy in bulk. But as a once in a while "I'ma down this thing before I hurt someone." lunch it does what I need it to do.
I have probably eaten over 100 fast bites in my entire life. The best one is the spicy chicken sandwich in my opinion. The regular chicken sandwich is just like death. My cooking method for fast bites has always been odd. I put the sandwich on top of its box ; it put in the microwave for 95 seconds; it turns out way better than you think. I’ve done it ever since I first found fast bites. None of them are worth the money.
By the way a good tip for sandwich buyers, toast the bread on the stove or toaster if you’d like. Changes the whole texture of the sammich. Your welcome.
The fish sandwich is not bad, and the spicy chicken sandwich I like, the original one is okay, haven't tried the hot dogs from there(don't think I want too lol).These kind of things you get if you just want something to heat up really quickly and you don't really care about ingredients, not something you'd eat everyday or even every week, just once in awhile.

Im a single guy and sometimes buy similar products, but never eat them without modifying! A little salt, pepper, mustard or other condiments can help dramatically,!,,,,,,,,,, in a pinch!
I used to eat this growing up as a kid because I grew up with not much money so we had to grocery shop at our dollar tree, always bought those sandwiches , chicken strips and hot pockets ..
