DOLLAR TREE MIRROR SHELF D.I.Y TUTORIAL

Hey Bargain Family! Thank you so much for joining me today. In this tutorial, I'll be showing you guys how to create a mirror shelf using Dollar Tree products. These things are surprisingly sturdy. I can't stress it enough. I used command strips to hang the shelves because I rent and don't want to put holes with nails in the wall. Mirrors are mirrors. If they fall on the ground they'll crack. If you use command strips like I did, make sure you get the command strips that can hold 5lbs. I used two 5lb strips to hang every single mirror except for the mirror that didn't have a shelf. I used a 2lb strip that can be purchased at Dollar Tree to hang the mirror without the shelf. I just rather be safe than sorry. Don't think they're just gonna fall on the ground because I'm writing this! Mines are still up. I just want to make sure you guys take the proper steps to have a beautiful mirror shelf than broken mirror all over the ground. Thanks for reading!

5 Small Mirrors (found near candles)
-If you can't find the small mirrors at your Dollar Tree, Menards carries inexpensive small mirror pieces.

Super Glue Fix All Adhesive

I shall be moving out on my own within a month and don't really really have a lot of money to be buy these fancy dresser, so now I know where to shop. Just have to be creative! This is awesome. To get that fully covered detail you mentioned where all the sides are covered with correct sized mirrors you can use a glass cutting tool or scoring tool and cut your mirrors. Just measure the sides of your boxes and using the larger mirrors cut to size. Then just cover the 3 exposed sides of the box.

Wow - you did a great job on this. It would make a nice decor piece in any room that has a dark corner and you'd put a candle on the shelf (I actually like the 1 mirror instead of the 2 mirrors), light it, and viola - the dark corner is now bouncing light. I'm old enough to be your Grandmother and I want to encourage you to keep on thinking as your are with your cleverness, ability to articulate your ideas, your warnings about how to use glue (have you tried E6000?) and glass, and your awesome Audrey Hepburn eyes and eyebrows. I'm so gonna do this but I'm gonna use a long wood board for the back and small pieces of wood for the shelves. Then just paint, screw in the boards and glue on the mirrors. And a hangy thing in the back, lol. Thanks for the inspiration.

Stunning! If you wanted to you could use the bling stick-ons from the craft sectioning Dollar Tree (they come in square sheets or on like a wide tape roll) for the front edges of this mirror shelf, I’ve seen them in silver-mirrored as well as gold, blue, and pink-mirrored...?

I LOVE your videos! I've got most of my ideas for my house from watching you and I love your hauls. I go to the Dollar Tree ever time I see you haul something new. I'm like "Oh I need that!".... I spent like $60 bucks at the Dollar Tree yesterday for DIY's. Have you seen their Fall display? Oh I love everything. I love Fall projects. I hope you do some Fall DIY's too. I need more ideas. DIY projects keep me sane lol. No, really I enjoy them and they keep my mind busy and helps me through chemo.

If u wanted to cover the ends u could use the crushed glass or mirrors n hodge podge to hold it on. That would look really pretty too! But the way u made it is perfect actually.....
