Dollar Tree "Pier 1 Inspired Easter Eggs DIY" Bling Bling

Easter is my favorite holiday. The eggs are decorated brilliantly. Love the bling, jewels, and patterns. I prefer the arrangement on the coffee table...maybe because the eggs at Pier One were presented that way. Both are amazingly creative. xo

Great idea to use a plastic knife! I think I'll make some of these for my mother-in-law. she is legally blind, but she can make out some shiny or bright things. She will love them!

Thank you for the epson salt on plastic eggs idea. I decided to try it for the eggs I planned to use in a floral arrangement. Inserting a stick into each eggs made the coating and drying process very easy. After my eggs were dry, I sprayed with adhesive and sprinkled with a bit of fine glitter. The result was really nice.

These are fab-u-lous! the pink was my favorite -- if you do the decoupage on the egg -- you have to prime it with either gesso or chalk paint -- learned that last year -- love it !
