Need a few items to add to your box or theme? DT is a great place to go for a few things here and there! Come along as I shop for my Operation Christmas Child shoebox! I'll share a few new finds and a few restocked items I like! Happy shoebox shopping!

Those llama and dinosaur sticky tabs are super cute. I have not seen those yet in my stores. I was really impressed with the quality of the adventure squad action figures, as well. I thought they felt a lot like a Marvel figure that you would find at Walmart. The story books are so darn cute. I passed on them the first time around, but couldn’t quit thinking about them so went back for the giraffe, monkey and hedgehog 😆. Yay, great find on the 6-pk of sock. I like that hairbrush set, too. I haven’t seen those in my stores in forever. Nice walk-through and haul. Thanks for inviting us along.

Thanks for coming along Trish! I agree on the Adventure Squad Action figures. The material used is like that of a Marvel character at Walmart. Good description. I can't wait to pack these! Yes, it is rare to find those 6 packs of socks and when you do it's a big yee haw! I forgot to show them in my haul but I definately bought them! Thanks for watching and have a nice weekend!

Those are really great items for the shoe boxes, those cute little note books you found, I will check for them at our local dollar tree for those I am making paper packs for my shoe boxes and fillers as well. I got the idea from another person who is part of the sending shoeboxes group. And what she uses is the poly folders with prongs in them and pockets, I found some at our local Walmart for 50 cents. They only had one e color so I bought six for now, she also puts inside of them some loose leaf binder paper, construction paper, and grid paper, I will be including all of those items, and some other items like stickers and extra note books that are the mini ones. Maybe even some stencils. I might even find some of the other items you mentioned at our local DT like you mentioned though about quality items and not always getting everything there for the boxes, I agree, while there are quality items being sold there, not every store will have a great selection of that. I like to make sure my boxes have items that will last them for years to come. Thank you for sharing all your great finds. 😊

Your paper packs sound amazing! I have made those also from time to time when I can't fit a full composition book in and I love the variety of paper you can pack. I love to tuck in religious book marks as well. How wonderful that you will be doing some for filler also! Thank you for sharing! Yes, not every store will have all of these items. In fact I go to several but it even varies by region of the country. That being said, this was a fun haul and I love finding new things there that are of quality! Nice haul! I feel like those coloring books have been around only they had a different cover before, lol! But I agree, they're great for a boy when you're looking for a general coloring book. It's hard to find boy stickers if you don't want Jurassic Park or Transformers and those are quite cute. Those squishy Fuzzy Friends are darling!

Thanks Kelly! Yeah, I agree on the coloring books. They are a good general coloring book and probably the same ones with a new cover. I get stuck on boy stickers but I keep looking! I do have dinosaurs but I’ll have to look for transformers. Those would be good too. I just wish there were more to choose from for 10-14. TFW!

I have been hoping to check out more DT haul videos to plan my next trip. TFS! I will certainly be looking out for marbles and the make it pull back cars. I found the cute books, and I have purchased the make it block flower sets previously. Fiennesgirl suggested green base plates to go along with flowers, and I plan to look for those too. I am glad to see some new merch coming in. Blessings!😊

I love all the stationary your Dollar tree has. I also feel like your Dollar tree is so much more organized than mine. Usually all the stuff at mine is put in piles and you have to dig. I haven't seen those fuzzy friends but I'm going to keep an eye out because they look so cute.

I like the bee notebook. I’ve seen a lot of bee themed items at dollar tree recently, it might be fun to do a bee box for an older girl!

I love this haul. I really like the sneaker notebook. Perfect for an older boy. I wish they had the TY with more of a boy design. I absolutely adore them. The figures look like good quality. Hope I find them.

I wish they had them(TY beanies) for the older boys too! I always seem to need a small stuffie for the older boy boxes and those would be perfect! I love the Adventure Forces and can't wait to pack them! Great quality for $1.25 and that seems to be rare these days! Happy hunting my friend!

Went to DT today and saw new (to me) eraser packs. They had really cute themes, I picked up two animal sets. But I saw a space theme set too with rockets and an astronaut I believe. Would be adorable for your space box! 🪐

Awesome haul, Denise!! I have never seen a 6pack of socks at dollar tree! Love those action figures. Going to be looking for those! The last hot wheel car is a fidget spinner. I like to use a lot of the different stationary items from Dollar Tree. I hope to find the sticky notes.

@@drogers Yes, I noticed some HW have a "special feature" they say up in the right hand corner of the package. When you turn it on the back it will show you what the feature is/does. I think I learned that from Matman and Robin's channel. She showed how a HW turned into an airplane. I'm happy to see the deodorant because it reminded me I want to include those in my boxes this year. I'm trying to concentrate on 10-14 boys this year. God has provided the clearance of t shirts and underwear. Now I just have to get the socks.

Thank you for sharing. I hope i can find those Adventure Squad guys in one of my DTs. I did find marbles at my DT and grabbed a couple bags. I sometimes find boy stickers at Dollar General…Those Funny Friends stuffies are so cute, hope I can find them too! ❤

I love the water bottles and the squishy toys. I have just done a space themed box and included marbles of a solid colour with swirls on them, similar to what you bought, as I thought they looked like planets.

Awesome finds! I love those books too. I bought the giraffe one specifically for a giraffe box, but then I couldn’t use it 😕. It didn’t fit in my box, which is a small box. It wouldn’t fit the long way, and if you try to put it in with the top of book to fold over, you would break the binding. I was so disappointed. My Five Below has marbles for $1. Up front in dollar section near the registers. I can’t remember for sure but I think they are 25 in a pack with a shooter. TFS! I love watching shop with me’s and hauls. 😊

I found marbles at 5 Below (50/pk)with 1 shooter for a 1,00 I found those when I went to Houston over the weekend. That store has a section up front with shelves with bins and it's a dollar section. They had lots of cute things therel They had these dinosaur and shark trucks that I bought. Those books are so cute. I never find any of the books you and Trish show. i noticed those 4 guys have 1.25 on them. They are starting to put prices on a lot of items at Dollar Tree. Thanks Denise

My Five Below is not that great. I’ll check again for the marbles though! That’s a great deal!!! Yeah I think DT will start having a variety of prices for things so I think they’ll be putting those prices on everything to avoid confusion. Makes me nervous though because I fear many things will go up in price,🤷🏻‍♀️TFW Judy!!!

Isn’t carnet French for notebook? A lot of the time product info is in English and French, depending on where you live. Sometimes it’s English and Spanish. Anyhow, thank you so very much for sharing with us. ❤

I only know that Carnet translates to "license" in google translate but I guess this could also mean notebook. Not sure but interesting right?

That's correct. 😃Carnet is French for that type of notebook, it's not the brand name. The brand is Jot. Many of the Dollar Tree items are in French and English (and sometimes the addition of Spanish), probably so that they can sell the same merchandise in their Canadian stores.

Most of the time I do but on occasion I will leave it if it has instructions or keeps an item intact. Most of these countries do not have trash removal so it is important to be aware of that AND by removing packaging we can fit more in the box!!🥰
