Thanks. The Sony RX-100 VI has a maximum diaphragm of F/11. In this video I used a Hoya Fusion CIR-PL but no ND filter, so the aperture was between f/8 and f/11. But this is a video shot in July 2019; in the most recent videos I used both CIR-PL + ND4 or ND8 filters.

Hi Steven. Not exactly color grading, but color correction and level balancing in DaVinci Resolve. I always try to reach a faithfull result.

@@Thorgal_04 Gimbal: Moza Aircross (first gen. ). PP10 - HLG. This is one of my first videos; today I prefer shot in S-LOG 3 with the Sony a7-IV, but, in my opinion, the smaller sensor in the RX-100 VI give better results in HLG.

@@PaoloBucci-HDR Thank you for your answer. So basically you record in HLG or S-LOG 3 and convert it to REC.709 before some adjustments?

@@Thorgal_04 My videos are all in HLG-HDR. So I use REC. 2100 HLG, not REC. 709, which one is SDR.

Excellent sensor, extreme sharp lens and best autofocus. The only downside is the 8 bit in camera video record.

In daylight 0.0. Often in night shots (not this video) - + 0.7 or + 1.0, depending on light conditions.

Questi video sono in HLG, quindi visualizzabili in HDR solo su televisori che supportano questo specifico standard (altrimenti si vedono comunque, ma in SDR). La Sony RX100 VI già registra in HLG, ma è possibile ottenere un video HDR HLG anche da un video RAW, ovviamente, e persino usanto la gamma Cine 2 o Cine 4 delle fotocamere Sony (e probabilmente anche di altre), purché opportunamente modificata. Ad ogni modo, in DaVinci Resolve si impostano i parametri in "color management" in modo che output color space e timeline color space siano su REC 2100 HLG. Inoltre, va attivato il luminance mapping impostato su 1000 nits, sempre nel medesimo menù. Per quanto riguarda l'imput, gamma e spazio colore dipendono dalla sorgente e vanno settati di conseguenza. In fase di esportazione si utilizza codc H265 a 10bit. Per ottenere video HDR comuni, ossia non HLG, basta variare gli spazi colore di timeline e di output settando REC 2100 ST2084.

It is an excellent camera for its size and price, but its a pity that it is not able HLG 4k 60 fps. Possibly mark VIII will be improved at this case, possibly will not.

@@ВасилюкВалерій Yes, you are right. 60p would be a great improvement. But I'm pretty sure the RX-100 VIII won't have this feature. I hope, at least, that Sony will add 10 bit recording...
