Frank has everything figured out; he already has two children with Dolores; he has a healthy relationship with Dolores when it comes to a family and the two children; no matter who Dolores dates or is with, Frank will 'be there' so there's no man that is going to just get with a woman with another man and two children who are grown, right there -- that man CANNOT be himself in that relationship, he's already looking over his shoulder and he's getting second-handed pleasure, so Dolores is controlling her new guy and the new guy is being emasculated by Frank... and guess what? Frank knows this... you don't see Frank with a woman with two children and a husband on the side?... You see, so Frank has positioned himself to the point where it doesn't matter WHO Dolores is with, whomever that guy is, he's already showing Frank, he's a Beta-male, not because the guy cannot break an egg or build a house, but because he got with a woman with two children and a husband on the side who is already there... Frank is a jock who did nothing but cheat on Dolores back in the day WHILE she was pregnant and taking care of kids at home, Dolores is finally moving on with a successful man who loves her and franks holding onto her like her roommate. Dolores' role when she was brought in was to be a mediator between Theresa and Melissa/Joe since she has been a long-time real-life friend of them. Ironically Frank has always played a role in this because he is very level-headed despite the stereotype these rowdy Jersey husbands get. Jersey is the only franchise where collectively the husbands have consistently gave to the drama and storylines, more than any other franchise. I mean yeah others have too but the husbands are just as involved as the wives when it comes to Jersey!

I get where Paul is coming from but I think he is expecting too much. Yes Frank and Dolores divorced a long time ago but they have formed a close friendship and Frank has been there for Dolores through thick and thin for years. Paul needs to understand and respect that and to adjust to it. Sorry but I don't think a new partner has a right to demand that his/her partner cut ties with people that were already in their life because the new partner feels some way. Yes Frank needs to make a few adjustments, like knocking on her door rather than just walking in like he used to but I don't think he needs to suddenly vanish from Dolores life. Especially since Paul is apparently still close with his ex. I didn't hear Dolores make any demands of him.

I think Paulie’s main gripe with Frank is the fact that Frank lived with David after they broke up and he refused to speak with her. Like if you and Dolores are family, why are you buddy buddy with her ex that did her dirty. You’re an adult Frank, you should have your own place to stay and not sleep at your ex wife’s ex boyfriend place. I don’t think Paul wants Dolores to have to worry about a situation like that happening again with him and Frank. He doesn’t want to get too close to him and also is setting a boundary with Frank like we aren’t going to be buddy buddy like you and David were.

This is a real life relationship. Dolores and Paulie are good together, but she is going to lose him too because he is right. They need to end this weird family dynamic that seems codependent. No one likes change but Paulie is right grow up. Frank has Brittany, Dolores has Paulie and their kids are grown with careers. I get it helps the story line of the show, but she is going to lose him in real life if it doesn’t quiet majorly down. Paulie is not coming around that crowd either. They are not his vibe. It's been a minute since I've watched any housewives consistently since moving but can I say, I absolutely adore Frank and Delores's FRIENDSHIP exactly how it is, their children I'm sure love what they have too, it's beautiful! I don't see Delores or Frank wanting anything other than what they have with one another. They would never be in a sexual relationship nor do either want one. Ugh! Paul needs to shut it and grow up himself Frank will always be Dolores children's father and he needs to deal with it and Dolores needs to stop talking as if Frank wants her back BCUZ HE DOESN'T HE HAS HIS WOMAN!!! Paul is completely insecure and selfish - it's not complicated. Dolores and Frank's relationship is wonderful and they are family - he's not someone that Dolores has to give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...now I've seen Rachel locking her children in a room to play, I see an incredibly self-absorbed and completely selfish mother.

Idk about Paulie. He just doesn't bring anything but his great townhouse. What does he do for a living? Do we even know? It's been how many episodes, we know nothing about him except he want Delores to stop interacting with Frank. I'm over Rachel already. She's another Melissa. BORING. And please don't mess up his son by bringing up all his mom's dirt on the show for a storyline. That's gonna be horrific for the kid.

Dolores is such a good mom, frank left her to raise their two young children while he chose to be free and go date and party when dolores didnt have the choice, and she let her kids see for themselves instead of trash talking him and she still lets him in her life and her childrens lives. She cares more about her children than herself & it shows.

If you have a secure relationship your not going to be insecure or demanding controlling about a ex. Paul isn’t changing anything about his relationship about his ex so why should Delores. Frank likes them young but I do think he knows he messed up by what he did to Delores and his kids when he left. I give Delores credit she kept a good relationship with Frank for the sake of her children. He’s lucky that she was good to him in spite of his behavior and actions

This cast annoys me. They give Dolores years of hassle for not doing enough to find herself a man that appreciates her and shows it in ways that they judge fit. When she finally finds someone good for her, they’re still not happy and find something else to nag her about. They are never just happy for Dolores. Side note: Frank is the epitome of a manipulative man baby who wants the cake and to eat it too! I feel he is a wolf in wolfs clothing actually.

I never say anything against the men because I really like jerseys husband but Dolores you need Frank because you don't have a story line or a personality outside of him and it is such a big red flag when a man comes in and tries to tell you how to handle close relationship that you have had with your ex husband for years David didn't mind it and Frank's girlfriend doesn't mind it so why does he have to be the boulder to stop it?

Everyone blames frank, but in actuality is dolores fault..does anyone remembers in the beginning of the show she couldn't do anything for herself without Frank's help??. she should have ended that when they got divorced.. just co-parent for your children.. I never did understand the way they both acted towards each other and carried on.. they are both guilty parties..

No no Dolores. Nothing wrong with having an amicable relationship with an ex but hopefully she isn't ruining relationships for Frank who is her ex. Her ex. Not her man. Her new man shouldn't have to be sharing her. If he was controlling her that's different but he has every right to want more time with her. Even if Frank feels he's losing a part of his family, she's not really family. It's a way of keeping her tied to him, to not have her own life. He's had relationships but doesn't want her to so she's convenient to him. Either Dolores knows and is just doing it for a storyline or she needs help
