that's a basic way to look at it - it's more a case of him being confident in his abilities, and having a positive mindset - he feels that he deserves to be in the main event (based on his abilities) - he's adopted the "shaun michaels mindset" - he doesn't sell himself short, and he believes in himself 100% (just like cm punk) - sometimes arrogance can be a good thing in wrestling, it drives you to be the best. i admire his aspirations, passion, and focus.
I have a new profound respect for Ziggler after this interview. He is worshiping Shawn Michaels & in my opinion there is no one better than Michaels so... I've never been a fan of Dolph, but objectively I can't deny he has talent in the ring. Great job with all those interviews Peter. You're a very smart wresling fan and a great interviewer.
i've seen a few of his interviews, and he always seems confident - he definitely has a superiority complex (which is actually a good thing imo - he still manages to keep humble though) - he's made to be a star - because he believes in his own hype - and he justifies it in the ring. his mindset isn't "normal" - because he genuinely believes that he's the best - and that's what's needed for a main event champion.
Best Dolph interview I've heard in awhile. Dolph wasn't in character and HBK is my favorite, glad to know he's Dolph's favorite as well. If booked right from start, Dolph would be a multiple WWE champ by now.
When he is talking to pretentious marks like Rosenberg, he has no reason to be normal. Listen to his Art of Wrestling if you want to hear him completely out of character.
Absolutely right. Curt Hennig/Mr. Perfect was more about the finesse, and being technically sound. Despite having an amateur wrestling background that helps with being technically sound, Dolph has that arrogant, smooth, show off-y style. Which is exactly what Shawn and Flair were. Absolutely great showmen.
lol your funny, remember Del Rio cashing in his contract on Punk after Kevin Nash beat the hell out of him after he won his match? Like all Heel champions they will do what they must, even cheat to keep their title. Faces won't do that because it's not part of their character. Dolph will do the HWC some justice, for as long as he holds the belt.

Dolph if you're reading this you(and here's hoping you cash in the briefcase) and win the WHC you better jump over the top rope and slap the apron after your celebration cause you know we will all be watching.
