Media has caused that, not the individual themselves. If they wouldn’t pull stuff out of context it would make it easier for these coaches and men to be more organic and show personality but yes Mike is always a fun interviewee 💯

Dolphins fans aren’t appreciative enough of McDaniel. He is a top 3 coach. Him, Reid, and Shanahan. If he is let go he will absolutely kill it wherever he goes because his mind is above 99% of the league.

Bills fan here. I love your head coach. Don't get me wrong. I love Sean , but I can only imagine what the Bills offense could do with him. Buffalo and Miami will continue be #1 and #2 in the AFC East, with no competition. Until the Jets D stays good and they get an O line that can protect recovering Rodgers ( who can't run at this point)

Tua is gonna get Mike McDaniel fired for not performing well. Mike took the job to fix Tua and he has done a great job at making him budding star but Tua needs to take the next step and win in big moments against elite teams. He hasn’t done that yet in his career and yes this year was his first playoff season but look at CJ stroud and what he has been able to do? If Justin Herbert makes it to the playoffs and wins a game this year then Tua doesn’t. It’s gonna bring up the convo again that the dolphins should of chosen herbert instead.

He is definitely a very bright and extroverted guy who has a quick wit...But, as a lifelong Dolphins fan going back to my boyhood and Coach Shula's first press conference, i saw what greatness on the football field looked like and it wasn't style or glibness or oral wit...it was an offensive line loaded with HOF and all pro talent, a HOF RB, QB and WR and a defense loaded with smart talented players that played with a reckless abandon for their bodies. We were capable of imposing our will to run the ball when we wanted to and then throw the ball to our HOF receiver when we chose to. We lead the league in both offensive points scored and points allowed in '72. I just don't like how this current team seems more interested in celebrating against the mediocre teams than beating up the good teams. And for God sake's please tell our HOF WR who is prone to lower body injuries to stop doing fucking gymnastic moves in the endzone....that would have happened absolutely once if Shula was the coach.

@ronlee2611 he is right though, the team was disciplined under Shula, the team now lacks that. Miami still has one of the worst offensive lines in football. They need to give the QB more than 2 seconds to make a pass, he is smart designing a system to have the QB release it fast but they haven't cleaned up the oline whatsoever. That's why Miami kept losing tovthe playoff teams, the line couldn't hold up against those defenses, they shouldn't be practicing celebration TDs either

@ericelmer5289 - The great Bill Walsh once tried picking Marino’s brain on what he goes through in his progressions when reading the defense prior snap and during his drop backs, and Marino brilliantly just said, Coach, I just throw to the open guy. Easier said, than done ? Great interview.

Need to draft a premiere left tackle. Need to either draft a qb with arm strength, or if possible get Justin Fields. Draft an edge rusher and inside linebacker. Tua is a nice guy but he is not going to get you in a Superbowl. He is surrounded by weapons and still can't win That was obvious in this 2023 season.

Florio is so lost in these environments. He sticks out like a sore thumb. Simms fits right in w all of these guys, immediately chops it up w them and Florio is always on the outside looking in and is left to incessantly force his way in by interrupting but you can tell the guests don’t see him as one of them. He’s a square wannabe

Chris Simms has been a bias commentator to me . I get a clear picture that he trys always to prove he is a intellectual equivalent of anyone he interviews . When he produces an opinion peices on his own he is arrogant and highly critical especially of tua. He had a chance to confront the coach in this interview but he took his time trying to make himself the coaches bestie .

Dolphins chocked again with an overpriced talent and way above the salary cap. Now they will overpay Tua who chocked against winning teams as well. The Dolphins also do not draft well. I am life long fan but they are up against a wall this season. I do not like they will bet the ranch on Tua. He has not shown he can win against good teams, let alone win in the playoffs, and they will pay him 50 million a year? Good luck.
