She and her henchmen, the Dolton Police. She wouldn't be able to pull off her gangsta' ways without them. Collectively, those police officers providing personal security to her have billed Dolton for more than one million dollars. Fraud and corruption. RICO!

Dolton citizens will either reelect her, if they can, or elect someone just like her. These people have no idea how NOT to vote based on popularity, minority status, charisma and/or some other equally meaningless metric.
There are six trustees. I'm guessing that three must vote with her most of the time. The reporter said that only four out of the six are showing up. That means that one is having a change of heart.
She honestly thinks that she is untouchable at this point. Her blatant disrespect and misuse of taxpayer funds have been tolerated so long that she thinks no one can touch her now.

The only thing surprising about this story is how long it has been allowed to continue. Any elected/appointed official who didn't put a stop to this and stand up for the American people should be charged with treason.
Just like the emptyheaded fear prisoners that keep voting for her, those like her (she's not the only, just currently the most flagrant), and those that protect people like her from legal consequences. People that don't care to know anything about the stances their politicians profess and vote along party lines only are almost just as guilty. This behavior didn't start here. She was town supervisor of a neighboring municipality before rendering Dolton insolvent.

Make sure you've consumed lots and lots of strong coffee when the judge reads her indictment because prepare for a very lengthy laundry list of charges that may take quite a while for the court to get through. I really hope that all of the different agencies involved in the investigation are present when she is arrested during the City Council proceedings, and everyone present breaks out in raucous joy and applause. Oh, one little detail. Let's all hope that the judge sets her bail to at least $1 million or preferably no bail because she's definitely a flight risk.

I live here in Dolton and no I didn’t vote for her, but let’s not act every person you voted for did exactly what they said they would do. The only difference between her and any other town was she finally got caught. ALL politicians stick their hands in the cookie jar.

The craziest part is how blatant she is with her corruption. And how no one has stood up to her out of fear of losing everything they have actually worked hard for. Unlike her, who has bullied and manipulated honest people into giving her donations and forcing them to do her sick games. I pray the system actually punishes her to the full extent of the law, and the police force of dalton should be ashamed and punished accordingly as well.
Investigate the police that are going along with all this. Knowingly violating citizens Constitutional rights under the color of law is punishable offense and lose of immunity for the officers involved.

And I just saw her on another video telling the trustees that they’re spending the people’s money and won’t help them while she works hard then she had the nerve to tell one of them that they had been arrested and didn’t want to tell that but she didn’t tell people about her criminal past.
