An Illinois man is dealing with an IDES mess after trying to do the right thing by returning Illinois unemployment money he didn't ask for. FULL STORY: abc7.ws/3B7Gc48
🤣I done tried it before and couldn't never get through....what's the reason for having a number you and can't even talk to nobody....you probably will get a response when you send them a letter in the mail....but through the phone I don't think so.
@@treychatman3160 If you really do work for IDES, you can't blame him for being nervous. The govt & the IRS ghouls enjoy terrorizing & threatening people.
Feel sorry for this man, he has a real mess on his hands at no fault of his own. What a mess our state and federal governments have become for all of us!
THIS HAPPENED TO ME. I received a letter telling me that I would receive a certain amount for filling and to expect a debit card in the mail. I reported it to the proper agency and when I received the debit card I destroyed it. Scary stuff.
This happened to our family too. I don’t blame IDES though. I blame the federal government for allowing unregulated credit bureaus to operate and not allow consumers to opt out of them. Remember to file an unemployment claim you need all sorts of private financial info which was exactly what was stolen from Equifax a number of years ago putting hundreds of millions of Americans at risk of this type of fraud. Still, unlike the EU, we have had NO new national regulations or standards for these companies nor do we have any standards for how any company uses or protects our data from cyber criminals. The people who work at IDES were doing their job and got played, just like the rest of us.
