"What do you expect from Everton?" Everton will park the bus mate and we'll struggle to break them down, passing side to side in front of them for 5 min before losing the ball and giving away a key chance at the other end, rinse and repeat. Romero is a great defender.....90% of the time, until he completely switches off like Mon night.

Loaning Ash away leaving Radu as our only CB sub is foolish. Davies and Djed will be our full back subs. A whole season plus European football upcoming. Unless Lance is silently getting another defender signing within the next week, or we'll be pretty much f ed if something happens to our back 4.

I desperatly want him to succeed especially as an Australian. HOWEVER i think tippy tappy passing possession football is not only boring to watch but its not as effective these days. He got rid of dead wood such as Sanchez and Ndombelle but is persisting with Bentancur especially after having signing two great young centre mids. He isnt very good at attacking. football has gone this way but theres not enough long balls forward and no counter attack methods. its just pass the ball around and hope fullbacks can do something great. If Tottenham are going to stay in top 4 and challenge for trophies they need some strong counter attacking football, no more passing between keeper and defenders.

It saddens me to think that Ange is supposed to be this mentality monster regarding his signings. He doesn't sign anyone unless they want to really, really want to play for Spurs. So on the training ground they have to run until they drop, or their tendons, hammy's, muscles etc. are about to snap or fail to some degree, so they show the manager they are true to their word. So bang a match or three after being picked their body fails them, because it is on the limit. Is the injury career ending maybe !!. Can the players recover, maybe, or are they only 80, or 90 % of what they were or could have been. Then the confidence goes after a 6 month layoff, or the player thinks bugger that, my career is very short as it is, without starting a match when training has already taken my body to the limit. Talent doesn't grow on trees, and it goes without saying that particularly in the prem. fitness is one thing. but fitness, skill and a cool-head to make the right decisions when exhausted is another. And as soon as physicality cannot match desire, skill and determination you are out the door. Last season showed this template, and again straight away. What is the point if a manager has a philosophy but can't manage the myriad of challenges that make up a footballer. COYS.
