With the electric sword you dont need to swipe the blade to kill the hawks, you can just point it at them whenever you hear them and see the visual wind cue. It's the most reliable way to get rid of them safely since they are guaranteed to die in one hit of the constant electricity
Interesting that you went with 2 tiles wide tunnels for the first two rows and then 3 wide tunnels later, didn't think of this but makes sense, bc. Resource patches get bigger at lower levels so it should pop through on on of the sides. You are only missing out on a little bit of cobalt, maybe your getting it later, I'm not that far in the run
Yeah I'm most concerned about getting iron, and later on I get probe so I can leave wide gaps and still find water/cobalt with the probe. For the last quite a few waves I dug out the entire map so I went back and probe'd all the earlier bits, there was only a couple resources hiding in those gaps so it was far more efficient than leaving 2 wide gaps.
Maybe placing the one way teleporter at the tree would have help you get some extra mining time, so you wouldn't have needed to return to your teleporter to get back to base, also save time in gathering from the tree since you only have to go up instead of down and then back up.
It might be a bit more efficient, but the tree was so close to base that I wasn't worried. I generally like to keep my one-way for when I'm resource hunting while the TP is working on a batch of iron.

why don't you use the passive ability from your starting gadget it refreshes around every two cycles so Isn't it just extra time if you use it when you leave your dome. also amazing run im still trying to hit 1000 you killed that shit
I'm guessing the score multiplier you can buy with cobalt is more valuable than the other things are useful. Multiplier is huge for more score. With portal, lift is not much use. And he seem to survive fine without stun laser.
Lift wouldn't help me since I already had portal to transfer resources much faster. Stun laser I'm not certain whether it's worth it or not. It might be, but I decided to go with the extra multiplier instead. It's hard to judge the value of stun laser, especially late-game when there's so many enemies and the stun laser only hits one at a time. There might be a strategy to make it worth it, though.
The only youtuber with a fruitful decision maker. I saw ton of videos regarding dome. And every player makes very dumb decisions. Except the lift.... Lift makes you feel alive. In the next run dont avoid lift.
your probably not happy with your average view time... we cant just sit here and back seat some dude gaming, we need commentary, enjoyment, some type of magnet keeping us from just leaving 2 minutes in my dude
