Buy them a bus ticket back to their home state . Las Vegas is not the place for women that have no local ties here . This same place doesn't do background checks on all their employees ,and a few years ago a felon they hired kidnapped, raped and tortured a woman he took from the shelter. You possibly seen the felon recently in the news after he attacked a CCSD bus driver.
its putrid! The some of the women that were there at the time I worked there, would sneak out at time to be with their so called abusers. Many are playing the system either claiming to be trafficked so they can get papers, some were, some willing, and others playing the welfare system, there were 4 cases that I remember that were actually there and were not whack jobs on some kind of drug or alcohol claiming abuse!
The horror stories about this place and working there! Empowering victim hood! Not one freaking dime to these people. Deseret Thrift shop had given these people coupons so that victimes of DV could get what they needed, over 800 dollars of those coupons were stolen by the same people claiming to help! The worst 30 days of wasated time. Volunteers come stay one day and never come back! I see they have a new chair, but Im sure its not much better. Wrote to the head of the department , they made fun of me...disgusting!
