Sorry I don't understand your question. In The Loaded CMJ, dip down into about a quarter squat position and explode up holding the kettlebells. Be sure to land safely.

Stick to quality over quantity. Performing around 25 intensive max jumps per session is a good guideline. doing this will allow you to train with more frequency (days per week).

Hi! I’m 13 and im doing workouts for footballers but my question is can you make a video of a whole week schedule with trainings plyometrics etc. it would really help me i have trainings 3 times a week and a game once a week please help me i also dont have any equipment i only have a small bit of space and 2 kg dumbbells

You can have 2-3 plyometric sessions per week depending on your schedule. But for 1 workout this is enough. ✅️

Yes! Have an organized periodization scheme. You can increase intensity by adding volume, height of box/hurdle, depth drops, multiple jumps/actions (more than one jump), load (weighted vest), unilateral plyos (single leg), overspeed (banded). We will do a video on this with more detail. Check out overtime athletes content, he has a video on this specific topic! 💪

Great session, will definitely be adding this to my weekly routine. I just had a quick question. How much pounds do you use on the Loaded CMJ, I’m currently using 10 lb dumbbells bc that’s all I have at the moment but I’m trying to buy new kettlebells to improve my training quality.

Appreciate that! You can use anywhere from 30-60% of a 1RM. 10lb dumbells is a great place to start. Better to start lighter than to go to heavy and risk injury or bad jumping/landing mechanics! Goodluck.

60-90 seconds. Resting 6x the working rate is a good rule of thumb when it comes to sprints & plyos. so if a set takes 10 seconds than resting 60 seconds is great. Important each set is performed at maximum quality & intent.

100% , but add in some vertical plyometric exercises like depth drop jumps, altitude drops, box jumps, hurdle jumps, skips, etc. Our newest RU-vid video gives you 10 bodyweight drills to improve explosive strength.

100% speed or power training is complimented well with strength training afterwards. 3-5 exercises. 1 main compound exercise followed by 1 or 2 accessory blocks (circuits) to help you be efficient.

1-2x per week in season. 2-4x per week off-season. No heavy strength training 48 hours before a match. Workout structure should include: warmup, plyos or sprints, strength training, conditioning if necessary.

Yes! The goal is not to feel tired but improve lower body power with this session. If you are finding it easy add some volume (reps) or increase the sets. Over time you can also progress the drills.

Is it normal to not feel your legs sore like a normal leg workout or am i doing something wrong, legs just feel very weak when i finish the workout but cant feel anything during it i just cant do the exercise anymore

That's fine! You shouldn't be training in the gym for a "sore" feeling. Quality over quantity especially when working with power training. Over time you can progress drills, increase volume, increase complexity (add movements), to progressively improve your athleticism.

You can add load, band overspeed, multiple jumps per action, increase volume, increase intensity (higher hurdles, further distances, higher boxes, etc). Make sure you master the basics before progressing, spend at least 4 weeks on this workout before progressing.

Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep. Eat good food and hydrate well. Resistance train 2-3x per week. Be consistent and trust the process, nothing good comes easy. Keep us updated on your process. 💪

Quality over quantity. A complete session with a warmup, power & strength should take around 60-90 minutes max. But if you are seeing benefits and enjoy your training keep it up! everyone's different :)

100%! Broad jumps are great for horizontal force production (acceleration), bounds are great for lateral agility, vertical jumps are great for improving top speed, extensive plyos are great for tendon health & elasticity, and plyos are great for the SSC which plays a key role in agility, sprinting, jumping, etc. 💪

I don't have them at a specific measured distance. I set them up to where it's attainable but difficult so I need to perform each jump with quality!

Try to perform this workout 2x per week for 4 weeks and you will see improvements. Test your max vertical jump & broad jump, it's possible to do this by yourself. You want to try to improve these tests with your training. If not improving we need to alter your training. But by staying consistent & implementing some simple strength training you will improve! good luck.

Yes these exercises are good for in-season. Do this workout early in the week. If available performing power workouts like this are perfect before a team training session. After a team training session you could follow that up with 15-20 minutes of a strength workout.

1 minute is generally good! If it takes you about 10 seconds to complete a set then resting 5-6x the working time is a good rest to work ratio for plyometrics. Important to complete each set with maximum quality so don't skip out on the rest.
