as a soldier encountering a pyro, immediately rail a rocket directly upwards, like straight into the skybox. They are now far less likely to reflect the next one which you actually fire at them. I have no idea why this works
the biggest tip for dm enthusiasts play mge, alone or prefferably with a friend better than you, you'll subconciously find your mistakes and if not then spectate good players on said mge server
1:10 Got to say, I'm a huge fan of watching tricks and tutorials in TF2, so I didn't expect to learn something new here, but the example of predictability in movement and shots really hit me. Nice job, dude!
Here are my 5 secret techniques. nr1 get good nr2 aim properly nr3 get good nr4 get good And nr 5 Get Good (*no, i don't do any of those myself, why you asking?)
absolutely useless video, at best it might help new installs, most of the tips are common sense in any game regardless of it's a 1v1 or not. and it shouldn't be 10 minutes long...
I must ask, who do you think the target demographic of these kinds of RU-vid videos are. additionally, do you think such tips would help the players who might click on such a video? Such common sense tips are still tips nonetheless. Playing position, crosshair placement, and counting shots are quite literally how you dominate 1v1’s short of actually having superior mechanical skill (which isn’t really something you can consolidate into a singular “tip”). I’m not entirely sure what you expected, just him to say “get good” 5 times?
@@sn0ipe333 he literally basically said get good 5 times.... also there are a billion guides just like this one that are not 10 minutes long, and have way better explanation, examples, and "tips" in general. This video is a waste of time for someone who specifically wants to get better at 1v1's and completely new players have way better resources to get general tips like in this video.
A tip that i can give, is that u should be always trying to get an advantage over your opponent, like geting a better position, being closer to a healt pack or having a escape rout while the oponent cant go anywhere
Kinda wish tf2 had a baby mode for new players. You have no idea how frustrating it is to constantly 💀 to ppl who have 1000 plus hours in the game and learn a absolutely nothing cause you 💀 ed in like 2 seconds or less. (Sorry for the skulls, yt censors my comments)
Hey what's your hud? It looks very clean! I have 1000 hours on TF2 but i stopped playing for like, 9 months.. now my aim is absolute trash lol, i'll try to follow these tips
Pyro is a soft counter to soldier. Unless he has a shotgun. A shotgun soldier demolishes pyros. So on average they are kinda even with maaaaaybe a slight advantage going to pyro. But even if you are playing roamer. You can still kill pyros in close range. They can't react to your rockets so just wait for their reflect.
@@akodam1270 good pyros know how to predict rockets, and if both players are at the same level of skill it is definitely heavily favoured for the pyro unless you catch the pyro off guard. even with the shotgun, you can only really shoot the pyro outside of your effective range since if you get closer they will burn you and do more damage if they dodge. soldier and pyro have an even matchup if the pyro isnt very good at airblasting and if you have incredible shotgun aim.
As a veteran pre meet-your-match player, i struggle to understand the crosshair thing you elaborated on. Also stop saying 'like and subscribe' cuz it's just irritating
