I think that Infantry nerf you are talking about is the Range, because when they get guns in enlightenment age, they used to fire over the walls, but they nerfed it when the oil and the Korean updates came out
long story short Koreans are the best nation in general France is for being fancy and building a beautiful empire/base Germans are the best for raiding and grinding the others are shite THE END
wow im play the Roman and they are good at killing stomping new player( im a new player but i play a lot of this game in many accounts) Roman are like Germans, i go to battle every 10 minutes because most of my troop come back and not die i still think the Roman are good but i like playing Japannese on my other account, they give a middle finger who try to attack
@@MrOceMcCool they have nations which have a significant history from the ancient years until today. Americans have no history before the enlightenment age, for example.
it's a tough call really depends on what play style you have. are you aggressive you may like the Germans, or the British. are you more of a passive player? if so the Greeks or Chinese may be more your play style. that's the beauty of DomiNations it does not have one right answer but many.
as said in the video this was just opinion just want that to be clear. Thank you for taking the time to view it. yes every type of infantry has been nerfed. however in my findings to completely rule them out for war is very not true. they are simply too detrimental to the game in my opinion just to discredit. Maybe it's my play style but I have had a large amount of success with the German infantry and even though they where nerfed they do wonderful and are a blast. on another note I have before used all tactics in a war. being Germans hitting ages above me. Regardless if there all used or not I find it to be a huge advantage to have the option of the extra tactic. as for the British as stated i knew people would argue this but in my", opinion" they fall a little short because the Koreans just have more DPS. sure the range is a nice advantage. at this point however we are debating miniscule details. The reason Germans take second is the over all control of the army. I feel having more control over all combo that with the 15 % boost to the attack they are a better nation. trust me it would have been easy to just be biased and say Germans are best but I'm not that type of guy lol. Just to change the tone a bit - I want to thank you for putting this video out...there is not a ton of people doing Dominations videos and even if I don't fully agree with your conclusions, it is a good perspective and will help others with their Nation choice.
I agree with you. I play as the Germans and their unique unit can quickly demolish buildings, albeit the fact that they have slower movement speed and are easily targetable. Regardless, they are extremely effective in an offensive role, especially since their main advantage is teamwork when used in vast quantities. What makes them arguably the best nation in the game is their fierce determination to achieve victory and their ability to balance quality and quantity.

what is missed here is I said that the Koreans where best for t the extra tactic, and the better Bowman. I never compared the Chinese archer to the Korean. I did say however it was one of the best things going for them. true it is there dps is higher but the Koreans as a over all nation in my opinion out do the Chinese. reasons stated in video are one the Chinese do not excel in any one field making them a very well balanced nation. problem with this is that they have no edge really anywhere. 2 in war the extra tactic could be clutch in a victory. 3 and my final point is this was my opinion agree or disagree you have that right, but I doubt very many people will agree the Chinese to be a better nation then the Koreans. sense this game is a PvP based game the Chinese are a mediocre nation at best when it comes to war. sense war at the end of the day to many of us is why we play this is why they rank so low on the board. thank you for your comment and I hope that I have given you some clarity into the video. take care and happy dominating!

The Japanese are just fun, and, the town center SHOOTS at people! It’s a balanced and good nation overall. P.S, they have to add dinosaurs at the start.

I play this game and the Chinese are a very good and bad nation. When you reach the Global Age and the Atomic Age( The Ages were your troops have machine guns and Sub-Machine Guns) Your troops actually fire like real life SMGs. They fire twice as fast, I am currently in the Gunpowder age and my troops are firing like machine guns. The bad part is that your troops do about 60% of the damage. For example, other troops can do 200 damage,(Just spitballing, no real troop can really do 200 damage until the Global age or Atomic Age) but your troops will do about 160 damage. Just saying the Chinese are a pretty good nation.
British nation is good for starting as it gives you more loot, you'll be spending more time collecting resources for upgrades. Then change to Korean when your serous about fighting enemies in the game. French is balanced as it gives you extra health, extra damage(but less than Korean) and reduces training time.
No, it is not. You have to fully exploit your archers. Their +1 range gives the opportunity to outshoot every defenses except towers and catapults. Ballistas, castle, redoubts are all out shooted. By combining artillery, shooters and cavalry you easily get to dominate the battlefield.
At the beginning Chinese is the best because of its extra citizen and make you build faster. But when you grow up to industrial age you will have 14 citizens and the extra citizen can not bring you a lot of benifit. So you'd better change to German, French or British

Codisius But in DomiNations can apply what i said because it required tons of patient, strategies in offensive, defensive and economic. Different players with different style of playing on the same nation that deem to be the best get different outcome. Same goes to the nation that deem to be the worst. So how do you know which one is the best? Plus every nation has a little something extra than others.
Simple I played every nation for 2 months each. I did a break down of stats like dps, damage, and over all swarm potential with a in depth analysis of each nations bonus that was given. The reason in my new opinion Germany is best is the amount of total dominance it has over it's nation. The fact I can use my command ability more often easily helps in assessing this debate. Those who do not plan should plan to fail , and with a lack of true control over the nation in battle makes it rather tough to plan. Germans have the edge any more However French are a close second in global rank due to the faster training slowing for faster strikes Nd there tank is not a push over.
My question is i am lvl 160 with 14 citizens as French, i didn't buy starter pack, its a waste of money since it will be negated in Industrial Age, so question is... In global age as Chinese will i have 16 citizens or 15? And you are wrong about them btw. Add wonders, library buff, university buffs to french tanks. and you will have 7 Tanks that have 38.200hp and do 920dmg... i combine them with bazookas, heals cannons archers 2 biplanes 1 zepelin and 6 tactics its a gg. Every game is a 5 star with 4-5 archers lost.
I can't help but think that the Greeks got the worst bonuses in the game, yeah sure early game they are good but no one cares about the early game anyway, it's the end game that matters and it's a shame that a nation like the Greeks didn't get any better bonuses that makes them more interesting and wanted to be played. Hope the devs change this at some point.
believe it or not my 13 vandals destroy an cannon in just 10-13 seconds without range infantry and while being attacked by an lvl 3 tower and I only lost 3 and o by the way the Japanese has the fucking ninjas that bypass walls
You said Korean is the best in terms of archer because of the +40% damage of its archer... 🤔 Assuming damage is 50/sec Koreans (+40%) = 70/sec. Chinese (double speed) 100/sec 🤔
For Chinese, they just shoot 2x faster but not more damage. Just a different style but the same damage like a normal archer. Koreans after they shoot, they deal even more power when shooting. The Korean Archers act like Infantry accept they shoot from range and destroy quickly both Buildings and Troops
To play devils advocate for a minute... Lets math. Koreans vs. Chinese. Let's use nice even round numbers. Say you do 100 damage an attack. 40% of 100 is 40. So Koreans do 140 dps. Since Chinese fire twice as fast 100x2 is 200. 200 dps beats 140 quite significantly. Unless I am missing something.
If you look at the Wikia it shows that although the Chinese do 2x damage they only do 60% of their dps per shot so going based off industrial age troops the Chinese ranged infantry, the Manchu Rifleman, deal 44 dps against buildings, if they only deal 60% of their damage a shot that means they are dealing 26.4 damage a shot. Since they shoot 2x as fast they get in 52.8 damage every 2 shots. If we are going based off dps vs. infantry they deal 105.6 per shot or 211.2 every 2 shots. Now lets compare that to the Koreans with the 40% more damage.The Koreans ranged infantry for the industrial age, Righteous Rifleman, deal 56 dps against buildings. Right there they beat the Chinese riflemen, but lets continue. If we go based off the dps vs. Infantry they deal 224 damage every shot. Even here they beat out the Chinese. The only thing I can see the Chinese doing better would be maybe locking on to new targets a little faster because it may not take 2 hits to kill the defender. Not trying to be mean or anything but when we are talking about special units with increased abilities like +40% damage or 2x speed you have to make sure all the facts are included. French has been done wrong by the players everyone make alliances and does not be active on it the only clans I know that are active are Mercian eagles2 and super nova
