Dominic "DA" Artis is gaining a rep as the top 2012 point guard prospect on the entire West Coast... Check out why... These are highlights from DA's junior season at Salesian HS (Richmond, CA)... MIXTEAM
dude is still growing and developing. i really hope he gives Cal a strong look. Artis and Jabari Brown would be an amazing package deal. KEEP THAT LOCAL TALENT IN THE BAY!
Not anymore, they are showing you old footage of him, he was like 14 to 15 years of age on here. He now plays for Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. He will be playing for Oregon next year. He is #63 or #64 top player in the Nation.
Your right young man he was about 14 or 15 on this mix tape or whatever they call them these days. He is now 17 playing and starting guard for the number 2 High School team in the Nation Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. Scholarship to Oregon. Plus he is not that small anymore he is now 6 feet tall will probably grow to 6 '2'
I already know he plays for Oregon. Ray Taylor is in college too. Also, just because he is in college doesn't mean his potential is met. I haven't heard him make any noise in college ball.
this kid is the first SHIFT TEAM GENERAL ON THE WEST COAST. Trevor Dunbar is the second one that took his place once he left for Oregon. All this dude is doing is shifting and mixing (mixteam) and getting buckets (bucketteam b4 they invented it)
@awubinski how often do you see interesting defensive plays at the high school level? Most good defensive plays come in context to the game they occur in, and you can't really show that in a highlight video, imo anyways
He's nice...he is very underrated in 2012 pg's another pg in 2012 that is overrated and overlooked is Memphis,Tn top 2012 Pg Alex AA-3 Anderson..type it in and check out his junior year mix...i think DA And AA should be top 20 Pg Nationally
I don't get why some or even all videos don't have any defensive highlights... I'm not saying for this video, but for hoopmixtape, ballislife, yayareasfinest, and other basketball highlight films.. Defense is the most important tactic you need.
@Dalit5 i saw bassy live in vegas in 2002 back when i played... d has similar handles and passing and they both have/had a great pullup j... bassy got to the hoop better and was obviously a lotto pick outta hs, but similaritie are definitely there...
