@Ryo Shusuke I don’t know why you hate thiem. He is the most likeable tennis player. He is humble, nice, talented, fun to watch. Majority of tennis players like him except 🤡 Kyrgios who himself has no manners. Do you even know that Novak, Rafa congratulated thiem on Instagram when he won us open. Even roger sent him a congratulatory message.
@Ryo Shusuke how is it disrespectful to Andy delpo and Stan? They are great likeable players but they are unfortunate with injuries. Is that the reason why you hate thiem because he isn’t getting injured?
@Ryo Shusuke nice joke almost beat Novak at AO 2020. He deservedly won us open even coming back from 2 sets down. If he met Rafa at RG 2020 final at least he would’ve put more fight than Djokovic and I am a djoko fan by the way.
@Ryo Shusuke, Novak??? Really?? Roger and Nadal miles ahead! We can talk about how watchable Novak is only when we compare him with Karlovic and other servebots sorry 🤷♂️
After all those slam finals and finally winning his first, He's got allot to prove now next year with the new gen like medvedev, Rublev and felix and shapovalov
I didn't know that I can love another player as much as I adore Federer. And then I watched THIEM in Miami final against my hero. Since then I'm a HUGE fan
*_Theim one of those rare player that no one hates, not the fans or other players, He's the guy for years, everyone said, deserve to win a slam and 2020 was his year._*
You're so right. It's his humility most of all that makes him so likable to all... and his talent... and his good looks... and his work ethic... and how articulate he is... and his beautiful groundstrokes... his speed around the court... and his good sportsmanship, his passion for the environment and animals... all round great human being! Yes I am a big fan. Like Roger and Rafa he will be a great role model to youngsters. I hope he wins many more slams and makes it to number one.
Points in 8:10 and 8:19 classic Thiem special Hope Thiem takes over next year. Just love his ultra-aggressive style. He’s got the talent and the drive. .
@Ryo Shusuke Man I hope you're trolling at this point! The amount of time of your life you spend on hating on this dude who has no clue that you even exist is insane. You should get a hobby or something ahhahah
@@SJ-di5zu People get pissed off, regardless of whether or not we speak or have an opinion. But better to speak because you may be right or wrong, or a bit of both, and may learn something useful in the process to improve as well as reduce the resentment. I can't say I'm used to the vitriol because it's still contentious and frustrating to deal with (so instead I'm more prepared to respond to it in hopefully better ways continually, because it gets predictable) , but I like to think that there's something interesting to be found in it. Then it can teach us to be a better example from it... or we can choose the opposite and drown with them. I'd rather go for the former because the latter is hell.
What a season for Domi🇦🇹 ✅ Grand-Slam-Champion ✅ Top-3 ✅ The future of tennis I am so happy, he won a Grand-Slam-title for 3 months ago, because he deserved this. Many emotional matches and moments this year for me. After Indian Wells 19' I believed he will a GS very soon, now he won it. 2021 I hope he win RG in an another Thiem-Nadal-Final match Go Domi 🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹
@Ryo Shusuke “Djokovic should have lost Wimbledon 2019” “Federer should have lost AO 2017” “Nadal should have lost RG 2013” But guess what? They didn’t!!!!
@Ryo Shusuke okay here listen. Are u saying that Domi did not deserve the title bcs he did not win against top players including the big3? Now that’s nuts

By this logic you can't judge anyone whose job you aren't similar with. By this logic you can't judge a politician becaue you have no clue about politics, you can't judge a doctor because you have no fcking clue about medicine. What a BS lol. @@seboskribanek6890 well you're right, but what Ryo is doing isn't nice. But, I agree that you don't have a right to judge someone whose job you aren't similar with. If it was a GS competitor saying that, then that would be more logical.
@@eghosaswordontennis7521 I stated ironically the opposite what you got. Life means that you try to learn more and more about the world not just stuck in your job and don't give a fck about anything else because you are not a professional at anything else. So yes, Ryo has the rights to state something (even bad things) about Thiem especially after the guy doesn't spam BS full time, sometimes he has right at his statements and he also gives explanations mostly. All you can do is to ignore him/laugh on him if his statements don't fit your thoughts. Thiem actually was the second best this year 😊 Nadal is still on No. 2 because of the Corona ranking system with the points from last year being frozen
@@kieranrankie203 Yes, thiem isn't that far behind nadal terms of points, if thiem can win a slam and a some atp tours he could possibly finish 1st as well
@@robinsoncruise2228 that's highly unlikely. Medvedev and Zverev are both really great players, especially on hard court, but they're both really inconsistent. Medvedev peaks higher than Zverev, but with him it's like... a few months of brilliant tennis, followed by a few months of bad tennis, losing against really low-ranked players etc Medvedev is also mentally much stronger than Zverev, but he has two big disadvantages that Zverev doesn't have: a) lack of physical fitness, which is also the reason why he usually doesn't go really deep in slams (and slams are the most important for the ranking). Medvedev has lost every single 5 setter of his career so far because he runs out of gas after a few hours b) Medvedev is, when he's playing his best, absolutely great on hard court, but he's bad on other surfaces, contrarily to Zverev who's solid on all. Medvedev is really bad on clay. He also drops out every year in the first round at RG, and hasn't won a single match in his last 5 clay tournaments or so, that even applies to smaller tournaments, he really loses against super low ranked players on clay. He's not as bad on grass as on clay, but he's really not good either. Medvedev really profited this year from the fact that the grass season was cancelled and most of the clay season too. You need to be good on all surfaces to get a really top position, otherwise you won't collect enough points. If you look at the top guys, you can see that they are world class on all surfaces
@Ryo Shusuke I know that no one can be like Roger ( except Rafa ). I know that he will not be as talented as fed bu he as a chance to leave his mark in the tennis book and break many records. His body is well enough pass through all of his challenges that await him. He is without a doubt the tennis players that has the best determination and that trains the most
@Ryo Shusuke dawg he literally won a gs and has defeated Djokovic on hard, Nadal on clay, and Roger on grass. He is deserving of respect. Also, you say his body will break down because of his "wild style"? they said Rafa's body would've broke down years ago due to his physical style, but look at him now. Come back to reality
@@John-yt8cl I just don’t want to talk about this thing anymore. I am tired tbh of all the stupid things we discussed, and if he is the alt of Ryo, well okay then, I couldn’t do anything and I won’t do anything about it. Thanks for the heads up tho:)
Why oh why did you lose for Medvedev in the ATP finals!! Medvedev is extremely tough for any player to beat but this was your tournament Dominic! Can't complain though...he finally conquered his first slam just a while ago 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
@Ryo Shusuke you have been making me sad all season by constantly spreading hatred under thiem highlights. its absolutely fine that you do not think dominic is a good player. certainly everybody who has ever been in the commentary section knows your opinion about him. i would desperately ask you to stop doing this. tennis is all about respect. this is what makes tennis beautiful. please keep tennis beautiful.
Commentator in thiem vs djokovic atp nitto finals 2019 : Yet more incredible power off the ground !! Commentator in thiem vs nadal atp nitto finals 2020 : Yet more incredible tennis !! the dominator is still proving his best against the big 3
If he would win against Djokovic at the AO or Rafa at the USO I would agree with this statement. Until that time better keep in mind that that cheap indoor HC tournament (ATP Finals) is a much different story than the outdoor HC tournaments, especially the GSs. Rafa was always bad at indoor HC tournaments while Djokovic sucked at the end of the season so much so I don't think that has such a big importance that he could defeat them (even so hardly). Let's see what Thiem can produce at the AO first before saying such an early statement that he 'll become No. 1 in 2021 lol.
@Ryo Shusuke Nah. Nadal bullied the clay and won a weak hard court tournament with no competition. What else did he do? Thiem actually did stuff against great players.
@Ryo Shusuke he actually should have lost to nadal lol lost first set and nadal served for the 2nd set. And Nadal sucks at indoor. What a whimp medvedev
@@robinsoncruise2228 Yup, Nadal definitely choked so hard that that match was painful to watch. Btw Medvedev'd murder Djokovic if they'd meet at the AO next year. I have no doubt about that.
Norrie 🎾 Thiem on Tennis Channel now I knew Thiem would eventually win a Slam after his French Open Final loss to Rafa. I still say that Austro Hungarian will win a French Open before he’s done. Thiem and the Greek heathen Tsitsipas are right below Nadal and Novak on clay but not by very much.
Thiem is the Gabriela Sabatini of the men's game. Like Gabi, his heavy topspin game can leave him mentally and physically exhausted. With both of them, their games took so much out of them that they can be very flat at times.
In the end, Thiem's facial is so awkward looking, urging to tell that " I'm quite old now, I need to get more titles as soon as possible" "Babolat is angry now" By the way~ peace~
I am confident that Thiem will capture gargantuan tittles and gigantic achievements within this period in his glittering career. Also, he has ample potential to attain his first title in Roland Garros in 2021 season. His mobility and agility has also enhanced in accordance with the previous years, wishing him good luck in the new season!
That's the same story for you guys since 2017. "Thiem 'll win RG next year" hell no fcking way. He can win any of the HC GS tournaments but RG with Rafa playing around? That's not gonna happen for sure.
@@seboskribanek6890 in fact, you are right concerning this case. However, The way of Rafa will be far harder than the expected during Roland Garros of 2021. Thiem reached the level of Rafa on the clay.
@@mehmetdogaguvendi580 Probably he reached that level on other clay tournaments but not at the RG, not at the Philippe-Chatrier court. Noone stands a chance there against a fully fit Rafa mainly not in a final as you have noticed probably. 13/13 wins and 100-2 stat at that tournament means something I guess.
@@seboskribanek6890 Rafa is merely stable in RG. He has a large dominance in Roland Garros. Besides, I don't even discuss concerning the mobility and performance of clay court of Rafa. He is definitely the best player of the clay court. He hasn't been denominated uselessly as the king and lord of the court. Roger, Novak, Dominic is far more impressive and dominant than Rafa except RG. Excluding RG, there is no stability in the other grand slam tournaments
@@mehmetdogaguvendi580 How is Roger, Novak and THIEM FAR MORE dominant and impressive than Rafa except clay? Roger is a weak era champ and all of intelligent tennis fans know and admire that fact. He was Nadal's b*tch after Rafa arrived, from 2004 to 2017, Nadal dominated him everywhere except Wimbledon and that cheap indoors HC tournament ATP Finals, even there he managed to defeat him in 2008 (Wimbledon) and in 2013 (ATP FInals). Nadal led their H2H 23-10 till 2017. Still leads 24-16 even so that Federer is hiding in his cave in the clay season to avoid more hammering coming from the god of clay. That says everything. Nadal has defeated Federer 3 times at the AO (H2H 3-1 favouring Rafa at all, Rafa's only lose came in 2017 after Federer's comeback, till that time Rafa was undefeated by Federer) and 7 times at the RG. That's anything but Federer's dominance. Let's see Djokovic. How is he dominant everywhere if Nadal won a HC tournament (USO) more than him even so that he is being called the hard court king? How is he dominant if he has only 6 Slams outside hard court? How is he dominant if he has 3 GS titles less than Nadal even so that 2/4 of the GS tournaments are played on his favourite surface unlike Nadal who has only 1 out of the 4 Slams played on his favourite surface? He has success at Wimbledon only because Federer got old and he has no competition there nowadays. However Nadal had to play prime Federer at Wimbledon and he managed to defeat him in his own kingdom. Thiem is getting 28 and all he has won is a M1000 and 1 cheap COVID-affecting Slam with many top players including Rafa not even competing and Djokovic getting a DQ in the early stage before. So stop your ridiculous BS and check some tennis history instead, my friend.
