Greetings Jill and Jerry! Lots of fun following along with you and your adventures. As someone else commented it looked like the seas were pretty calm when you arrived in Dominica. Unless they were expecting rough seas as the day progressed? Jerry our meteorological expert would have been on it I'm sure. Happy to see you were able to secure seating in your secret spot. Congratulations Melissa and Paul! That was very special. Love seeing the dinner menus, gives us an idea what to expect on a Princess cruise. There is always a first time to be at specific ports. Gyro sandwich is very good. Well, when they built the new ships they got rid of things people liked. Not a fan of jerked anything. Too spicy. Carnival Corporation, owners of Princess Cruise Line, are usually good about refunds for missed ports-of-call.
Well, not much you can do about the weather or what port authorities decide for what ever reason, so might as well take what comes one way and make the absolute best of it anyway! Gotta make fun when on vacation no matter what! Looks like all turned out nice!
If Mr Canucks is a bit into gaming I recommend the audiobook Ready player one, Wil Weaton does a superb performance and the book is way better than the movie.
