@ Rey De Jesus Oh it was the end of the country itself. Take sometime to study who the history books painted as being evil and you’ll be surprised at what you’ll find and learn.

I would love to live to see and experience the Dominican Republic in order and with a leader who cares and supports it’s own people just as my late father did and other deceased relatives who were young and alive during the Trujillo regime. Oh how I would love to see the day.
@@EGHS-4759 Obviously without a Trujillo we wouldn't have the country of today, but let's remember that Balaguer had to modernize the country because in Trujillo's era it looked like a village.
