Hi. This video of Latinos that grew up in UK talking about Latino politics. If your interested ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ueobnlcPdp4.html
Just DominicanS ...only USA afro Dominican usually by black folks &: there followers .I don't need say afro wen my eyes can see clearly. Labeling is divisions .putting women of rainbows is right ...
Thanks so much for this topic. Lineisy Montero is so stunning. She's walked many Chanel shows and it was good for the late Karl Largefeld to bring back black/afro-mixed/African models.
Right on promo. Do your thang. I am considering marriage there also but she will have to be spy-vetted before I do. To see exactly what I'm getting while I'm not on the island...during to those lonely Dominican nights. Hehe
@@southeastclass76 Try to learn some basic Spanish asap. Once you do that, most locals will let you know if she is marriage material. People over there talk, believe me.
@@BrokenSpanishForGringos I know she is marriage material. I been learning Spanish for a while. I notice that when she unlock her phone she doesn't mind me looking. In the dead of the night, I go into spy mode and rifle through her phone media. She pass all test. A person's activity is in thier phone. Many guys spend tons of money, marry or leave the island and she gets lonely for that Latin lover. They could of saved lots of time and money. My nononsensical method is proof positive. I only vet her once then I trust her, raw dog her, bring her up, in my culture and me in hers.
This is great. I love to see Dominicans embracing their natural hair (Afro Styles) I am African American and the models look just like people in my family. Most of my family have visited DR. I am planning to visit after we are allowed to travel again.
You did great on the African Diaspora channel with Phil. That’s how I found out about you. You told the truth through out the entire show and you did Great. Keep up the great work😊
You are looking at a few Dominican models who have made their careers outside the Dominican Republic. I'm Dominican and I can tell you that most Dominican women with African ancestry do not keep their hair like that. In fact, if they were to look like that in the DR, they would have a hard time finding a job. Afro hairstyles for women are not a thing in the DR.
I love Dominican people, they always make you feel like you are home when you visit their country. And besides the cultural differences there are so many similarities with black Americans and Dominicans as if we are related.
@@JE-im4im Maaan you missing the whole point of what I meant and everything you said would be under my statement "except cultural differences".. I'm not sure if you ever been to DR or what race you classify as but I see many similarities as far as style, soul, pride, charisma and many other characteristics I feel are almost the same.
Hello I just want to say that you have a very captivating voice as I listen to you recite text against the video. I think with just a little fine tuning you could make a career as a narrator for theese types of topics.
None of those women would make it as a model in the Dominican Republic. They fit the international "exotic look" standard, not the Dominican standard of beauty. That's the truth.
@@purplelove3666 I can't speak for every Dominican. Attraction is very personal. But I know that the white European look is what people prefer to see in the media and advertising in the DR.
It took me a long time to embrace my curls ( 23 years to be exact ) but I have embraced my curls and so do my kids... I have 5 kids and they are half Cuban but Dominican curly genes are strong cuz they all have curly hair 😂😂😂
@@VivaBellabyXtina Gotta teach these kids to embrace both their Dominican and Cuban sides 😍 The funny thing is 4 out of the 5 kids I have are fair skinned like their father and then they talk and sound pure Dominican 😂😂😂 people get confused as hell 😂😂
@@laprincesse9312 oh I definitely do...but I was stuck in that mindset for a long time that my hair looks better straight....im 30 now and have been growing out my natural hair since I was 20 and have been enjoying my hair more and more throughout the years 😊
They not refining anything. Those girls have No body and look hungry and are not cute. But most models aren’t regardless of race. The 90’s had amazing looking models
Tough shit. Deal with it. They're here to stay and the people who really matter appreciate them. Furthermore, they're opening theveyes on millions of Dominican women that they don't have to look like a European to be beautiful!
I do interview and now you doing interviews, now you coping the same topic...when will it stop? lmfao looking forward to your podcast with the same music in the background. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The standard of beauty there on TV is shocking. The dark dominicans are not seen on TV. when in public you see waves of beautiful dark skin Latinos and Haitians. My opinion, the Spanish colonialist pirates were far more attractive then the English colonialist pirates that infested the USA. The triracial mix is basically the same. African,European and indian.
@@VivaBellabyXtina ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rtMNAHwPSgA.html I don't recall seeing dark guys on dominican tv. But I know not representing all colors breed inferiority among them. The AA realized this and taught to be seen on TV. First time I saw a black lady on TV..we called around telling everyone. This was part of the civil rights struggle. They did not just let us on TV.
@@southeastclass76 Growing up I've seen plenty darker skinned musicians, comedians/actors and TV hosts, but again they were all men. When it comes to the women tho its definitely lighter skinned women for the most part that you see.
