i LOVE fight network's breakdown. especially Robin Black's opinions. Unlike Dan Hardy or any UFC based analyst, Robin Black has the freedom to call a spade a spade because it does not directly incriminate the marketing potential of a fight. And he's so damn insightful. We talk so often about the new age of MMA, this here is the new age of MMA Analysts and Robin Black is at the forefront of it. Damn he's good.

WHat song is the intro

you guys keep bringing up josephh benavedez (sp?) when you guys talk about fighters not training martial arts after their done competing but from what i can tell he's actually an outlier as most if not all martial artists will still train even after their years of high level competition. So to say that joseph is a part of this "group" that quits after competing is somewhat false, he's an outlier and quite frankly i don't believe that he will not train after competing, it's stupid to think otherwise even if he states as such. To me it sounds like he said one time that he was sick of training and someone stretched that quote into the statement ramdeen keeps repeating

Yeaaah I'm sure Troy Aikman the analyst can hop in a NFL game and quarterback cuz he learned more about the game. I'd rather have good knees and all that mat time I lost from hurt knees than analyzing fights - I can't believe they're considering that injury as a pro instead of a con. You guys always talk about the mental side, which is important, but I think Dillashaw performance is going to be sobering - body and mind is key.

on the real, TJ is 29yrs old; he's at his peak physically. realistically TJ has around 3-5 solid years to make some serious $$$ & then it'll be over. I don't fault TJ for leaving Faber's camp; Faber's probably a good person, but not good enough to pay for the treatment & surgeries that come after fighting. I'm not a fan of "the snake in the grass" as quoted by King Conor, but let's just be real for second... Dana is paying most his fighters (that put their well-beings on the line for our entertainment) peanuts compared to the millions of dollars they make annually!
