Mengsk army is basically astra militarum of the Imperium of men from warhammer 40k. Lot of infantry, strong ass vehicles, lot of firepower... so damn similar
@@mattialonghin_mr.l857 Never was. Each only took from the same inspirations; Aliens, Starship Troopers, Dune, etc. Only WarCraft was once supposed to a Warhammer Fantasy game, StarCraft had nothing to do with GW. Only connection is Chris Metzen, one of the senior writers and artists for StarCraft, was a fan of Rogue Traders, aka 40k before it was 40k, and it only influenced his drawings, no the game. Chris Metzen only got into newer 40k lore and tabletop about a dozen years ago. Fun fact; the artstyle and lore of newer Tyranids only started after StarCraft's Zerg got popular. The design for Primaris Marines also may have taken inspirations from SC II.
In the French version the quote "if ya can't leave it, love it" is translated by "Dominion, you either love it or leave it" as a reference to ex French president Sarkozy quote "la France on l'aime ou on la quitte" and I think it was funny as fuck
@@Marcus-uo5de alright that's good to know, thanks for responding. Since I keep searching for the clearer one. Dunnow why some of the dominion trooper quotes were gone.
