you know this game has a limit of construction and building units, if you build so many units or construct it's just closes all the tabs on every category, would be cool to be like in C&C.
I don't know if you will ever see this, but my laptop, windows 10, does not have a cd rom or dvd player. What is the simplest way to download this game on my laptop, so it can be played without having to be online. Thanks.

Campaign is easy!! U wait and defend with minimun expenditure till they run out of money.. by using auto repair forcefield barriers...Then attack with splash damage missile walkers . Game Over lol. That's probably the only strategy game you can do that on.
Well, i removed all 10 armor points from barriers so they taking much more damage and can be destroyed even with bullets (but also removed the repair cost so you cannot drain money from auto-repairing enemy beacons), so it makes this tactic less effective :X
heya, do u have any advice? ive completed human and darken campaign, now playing through scorp and in mission 7 where you have 45min to win and not let enemy merc boss reach some telepad, the game just straight up closes itself, no error, no anything, just whole game shutdowns.... everytime at the beginning of the mission, dunno what to do.... i must say i dont have music and cinematics in the game, the game wont let me install itself so i download already installed game from the links uve provided, the game worked so far good with win xp compatibility
Yea, i had exactly the same "error" in this mission, but i do not remember exactly how i fixed it... So you can try something like this: 1) Slow down the game speed to lowest possible (when mission starts press ESC and look in options for "game speed") and when this glitching mission starts - sell all existing buildings before they explode... 2) If step above did not helped - try to change difficulty level to easiest (in main menu options) and restart the mission, then if you sure mission is going well - you can switch difficulty back. 3) If nothing else worked - you can slow down the game same way as in step 1 and on the mission start you press "Enter" and print "COMBUSTION" (cheat code to kill all enemy units) and press "Enter" again - all units die and probably will not cause game to crash and you will complete mission since all targets are dead.

@@Quitarstudent Try to save game right before the error and reload it... Or restart mission and if you can't sell the buildings try to kill your buildings with the soldiers standing in the exploding base (order them to shoot your building by clicking on buildings while holding CTRL)
It totally random and unpredictable if it will work on your PC or not - i tested Dominion on 2 PCs (one is old and one is pretty new) and on laptop - worked fine on all of them, but some people had unsolvable problems with launching the game or with playing it after main menu. In video description i put 4-th link which leads to full instruction how to download and install game properly and some tips what to do if game got some errors - but still there is no guarantee it will work on your PC...
No need to download patch 1.2 - you need to download pre-installed 1.2! This is the game already unarchived, installed and updated to 1.2 (modern PC can't handle the old setup-programs so you need to download already prepared to use game files and put into C:\Program Files (x86)\Ion Storm\Dominion). i play this game on pcem emulator + win95 but i have 2 problems with the game: - i installed 1.02 patch but the game still shows 1.0 in the main menu. - musics dont play. the cd is mounted, there are opening animations but no music. (by the way no music in the preinstalled 1.02 version either.)
I am playing on Windows 10 with preinstalled game of version 1.2 and it works well without any emulators (but have no videos)... To have music in game you need to assign character "A" to your CD-drive or virtual CD-drive you mounting Dominion's CD on (game is looking for music from the CD-drive which is going first alphabetically)... But there will be playing music from only one of the CD's then (so you will be hearing only half of the tracklist all the time). Will be easier to download soundtrack and play it in Windows Media Player.
@@BlackNyasher all right, i solved the problems on the emulator, everything works fine now. (the reason i dont like to play this game directly on win8.1 because the music is way too loud and when i lower the cd volume in the sound mixer and i change back to the game the game screen becomes glitchy always.)
To have videos in the game you need to instal the game (mount virtual CD and run "autorun" or "setup") - game installed this way will be playing videos and intros, if you lucky. The only way to have music in the game is to put real CD into the real CD-drive, but even this way it probably will not play music correctly (sound is glitching badly once it played all tracks recorded on CD), so the only properly working way to have music in game is to play it in the windows media player :V

It is the "manpower" (or "people", "personnel") - second resource all units and buildings requiring for producing, you can increase it's income by building "colonies" (the second building after the powerplant). Upgrading colony increases the income additionally (unupgraded colony gives you 1 man per tick, upgraded gives 4) and usually 2 upgraded colonies is enough (in the late missions you probably gonna need 3 of them).
In OBS you need to: - add "Display capture" in sources (your main menu will not be recorded and stay as black screen, but mission itself will be recorded fine, at least this is how it works for me) - then go "Settings" >> "Video" and write into the first 2 fields ("base" and "output" resolutions) your ingame resolution (can find it in the game settings)
How can you capture vehicle controlled by man? By throwing money in his window? xD Even in G-Nome you had to force enemy pilot to eject first, this is just way too overpowered in Dominion
This game was my first strategy game ever.i was so addicted to that one. I completed all four campaign with normal difficulty then hard mode. My favourite was scorp.then i played genersls zero hour with my favourite gla team,similar concept,too many cheap units better than expensive tough ones:) Can you still play this online with friends?
@mohammed hassan well the good thing with the scorp is that they are cheap. the real challenge in the campaign is to survive the beginning when facing a huge enemy force while u basically have nothing... the scorp really help with that as u can spam cheap units very quickly for a quick defense. late game yes their units are worse, but there isnt too much of a challenge by then. spamming rocket troops and spreading the around in crawl position, is super cost effective and makes dealing with them a pain for the enemy. they got good firepower and they are so cheap that u can have so many of them...they can actually do significant damage. the only things that can be dangerous to them are heavy splash damage weapons like T2 tanks (arty) and bipeds. the only armor that can block most of their damage is the T2 crawlers, which are themselves ineffective vs many small targets...
@@cobrazax in "G-nome" (mech-simulator in the same universe as this game) there was special grenades called GASHR which, when hitting enemy vehicle, forcing enemy pilot to eject from the vehicle leaving it empty for capture, it could be cool to have something like this in dominion instead of just instantly turning enemy tank into yours (this is just broken OP, even tho can be fun)... i gave this tiny spider mech a meson gun because this is the weapon this spider had in G-nome, but i also had an idea to give him the same freezing weapon as human mech have. It could be an interesting idea to give merc engineer this unit-stealing weapon so you have to freeze enemy with end-game mech and send engineer to capture him, but in the singleplayer it will be even more OP since you can just send your engineer to capture enemy tanks while they are busy shooting your beacons :V
No, but you can download preinstalled version and CD images from dominion comunity site (you need "Pre-installed 1.2" and images of CD1 and CD2), works good on my Windows 10
У меня в детстве был диск с отличной русской озвучкой, но без музыки и заставок (на диске был сборник из 10 игр непонятно кем полностью переведённых)... Диск уже давно потерян, а в интернете я сколько ни искал - именно эту версию перевода и озвучки не нашёл. На рутрекере была полная версия с музыкой и переведёнными заставками, но там озвучка сделана на от@#%бись
