This is without question the most fun I've had watching a domino video in months. You are definitely in my top 5 builders at this point, and you're quickly asserting yourself as one of the best domino artists in the community. I must admit, I was a bit late to the bpdoles party; I've been subscribed for only about a year or so, maybe less, so from my perspective, your improvement recently has been meteoric. I absolutely love your style of building, I think you've managed to iron out the issues you used to have (mainly lots of fails) while still retaining your risky, compact style with lots of tricks. I love your color combinations as well, particularly in the setups at 2:32 and 4:44. I'm so glad you're still relatively young, because it means that you'll be doing domino art for a long, long time, and I can only imagine how much you'll improve in that time. I think we'll find over the next few years that you'll be the face of the new generation of the domino community, and I couldn't be happier about that.
I can’t thank you enough for this comment. It’s amazing enough to hear something like what you said on a domino video, but coming from an amazingly skilled builder like yourself, had me in absolute shock. Thank you so much for this Lyle. I’ll do everything I can to live up to your prediction. I really look forward to seeing you again.
Amazing video, Brady! I totally agree with Lyle, your improvement over the last year is truly incredible! I love your compact, colorful and risky style. Every project is a pleasure to watch! And you used quite a few tricks that I didn't expected, for example 0:59, 1:14 and 1:37! Keep up the great work ;-)
This was awesome! I don't really know where to start so I'll just do my favorite parts in order: 0:11 was a really neat effect. I would love to see that on a bigger scale for sure. 0:38 Great colors! I especially liked the greens since that's my favorite color. The small tricks inside of the squiggle lines sometimes stress me out, but you seem like you've mastered getting them to work at this point, so nice job on that. 0:58 that trigger for that wall was seriously awesome, but I also thought the wall itself was an interesting design. I had to watch it a few times to realize they were alternating hexagonal pillars, which was really innovative. 1:13 was awesome. Seems like you've really gotten into the big blocks tricks a lot lately, which is really cool since not a whole lot of builders explore those types of tricks. I feel like it's becoming a signature move from you. I also loved the blue radial wave that followed it. Great camera work on that as well. A lot of times those set ups that shoot around the room can make me dizzy, but you were able to keep it pretty smooth. 1:30 Once again, the big blocks tricks were awesome. 1:46 This was so cool! You took a really cool trick with the rolling ball across the room and expanded it to be the main trick in a unified project. That was just insane. That shows you've really learned a complex artistic principle. 2:29 that was really cool. I love a good circle bomb, especially when you can add something unique to it. 2:33 & 2:57 As I said before, those small intricate sections are tough for me to watch. I keep expecting it to fail, but once again, you seem like you have a great handle on that style. I guess builders in general are getting much more proficient with that. A few years ago, there was pretty much no one who could get those kinds of things to work. 4:08 Great design on the tower. I liked how you modified the top as well. 4:46 Really good use of color there, and a great finale to the video! My mom is also 48, but I don't think I got her anything this cool for her birthday. Overall this video was just insane. Best domino video in months for sure, and one of my new all time favorites. Because your improvement over the last few years has been so unbelievable, I can't wait to see how you continue to develop over the next few years. Maybe you'll kind of takeover my spot while I'm in college. I hope this video ends up with the publicity it deserves!
Thank you so much Nathan!!! :D 0:11 I’d love to make this effect into a larger scale. I’m really happy with it! Thanks! 0:38 to be honest, sometimes I worry myself about those tricks going wrong lol. I’m glad that they barely ever do, though. Thank you! 0:58 the idea of making a hexagonal pillared wall was inspired by you. I’ve always loved the way that you’re able to come up with amazing structures that haven’t been done before which really motivated me to try it out for myself. So thank you for that! 1:13 the amount of possibilities with the small to large set is crazy and I’m really excited to keep exploring. And I’m glad you thought the camerawork was smooth. I definitely understand that that type of thing can make you dizzy, so it’s great to hear this didn’t 1:30 thanks! :D 1:46 props to twig for giving me the idea for this setup. Thank you so much! :) 2:29 yes circle bombs are indeed really fun :D I’m glad you liked this one! It actually got knocked over early on accident which was pretty painful... oh well :P 2:33 2:57 yeah I can understand that feeling :P but hey I’m glad you think that I’m pulling off that style well :D 4:08 thanks! The half pyramid on top of the tower really helps with the string trigger and making sure it will definitely work. 4:46 thank you so much!! I didn’t really think much of the colors when I put that setup together lol, but looking back at it I can see why people like it. Thank you! Thank you so much for this comment. It’s always really fun to read such long detailed comments especially when they’re from amazing builders like you. I’m excited to keep developing my style. Thank you so much Nathan!
This entire video is crazy, I don't even know where to start. First, it was really cool to see you built that cube on live steam and now see it fall. The technique and colors you used at 0:12 were fantastic. The colors for projects was awesome, and I loved the "6" field. The first setup was cool with flawless color combinations. What really blew me away was the setup at 1:08. I love how you launch the dominoes so that you can build different parts of the setup in different places. This has to be my personal favorite setup in the video. For the next setup I don't even know how you got the launching domino to be so precise. I am in awe. The setup at 1:48 reminds me on the one at 1:08. I really like this style of setup. The circle field at 2:28 really utilizes color, and is pleasing to see. I can't even understand the trick at 2:36. How did you design and plan this??? I also liked the use of mini dominoes in this setup. I really like the design of the bathroom setup and how it changes direction multiple times. The setup at 4:48 has stunning color combinations. I like the confetti like theme of the birthday setup, and the end field. Overall I think that this is one of your best videos and I know that I will watch it multiple times throughout the weekend. Thanks for posting this amazing video!
This is the type of comment that really makes my day. Thank you so much! 1:08 was my personal favorite as well, it’s interesting how far it can launch the dominoes :o I’m excited to explore more possibilities of sxl sets. 2:36 was just sort of me thinking randomly and I came up with that trick hehe So thanks again for the comment. Seeing comments as long as this are really joyful to see! Thank you so much!
Hey BP! I saw your encouraging comment on my domino video! I'm glad you're doing your part in the H5 domino community to encourage new builders! Also, great video!
DAAAAAAMN brady. This is really stepping it up. I think that you had a lot of creative ideas, but unlike Satisfying Domino Screenlink, you really presented your ideas well so that the most interesting idea was the main focus/concept of the setup. My favourite ideas were the ones involving the small to large sets pushing smaller dominoes in ways that I really did not expect at all! (1:13, 1:40) Totally rad tricks. Also I was really blown away by just how many risky and innovative ideas you were willing to put into your setups! I really appreciate how different every setup is, and that makes this video particularly enjoyable to watch. The setups are different in compactness, risk, suspense, innovation and cinematography, which makes the video very diverse and interesting while still keeping the style consistent with your pleasing colour combinations and cute little splitting lines. This video was pulled off very well and definitely my new favourite from you!
One of my main focuses in this video was to have lots of variation between the setups, so I’m really glad you thought I pulled it off well! As for the small to large ideas, I’m really happy about those. It’s amazing what can be done with those things and I’m super excited to continue experimenting with them in attempt to find more uses for them. Overall, thank you so much! I really wanted to improve on the things you’ve mentioned in my past videos, like SDS, so I’m really glad that was able to work. Thanks Conrad, and I can’t wait to see you again at domino world 2019!
This is probably the most enjoyable video from you! It is just something with your creativity and vibrant color combos that make it look super appealing!
Wow Brady! This was an absolutely incredible video! I loved all of the projects that you made! They were all just so colorful and astounding to look at! It was just amazing! Keep up the great work!
Wow I loved this sooo much. Part of the reason is probably because this weirdly reminds me of like an old ShanesDominoez compilation domino video. No idea why it does but it really does bring me back some and that adds to the enjoyment. Also you had some super creative setups, especially the ones that went around the room (1:12, 1:48). I thought these were really not and I haven't seen any domino set ups like these ever. I also love the mix of compact setups, to the spread out ones, and also the single trick projects. That's probably why it reminds me of the older domino videos but I love it so much. Honestly super good video and one of my favorites of yours!
Absolute insanity! You have improved so much in the past couple of years and this video is one of your best yet, all of the tricks were really creative :)
Man, that was absolutely amazing! You have a TON of talent! This is a total masterpiece! I loved all the tricks, and the colors were sensational. My favorite setups were 1:06, 2:32, and 4:20. Definitely your best video yet and one of the best domino videos of all time.
I simply cannot tell you how much I love this. There were so many great ideas and innovations that blew me away that I didn’t notice any fail edits until the third time watching haha. Overall amazing video, and I can’t wait to see what you have planned next for 2019!
Lol I was going to comment about how awesome the swinging small to large set was them as I kept watching there was the small to large set shooting a domino across the room then I wanted to write about that but I can’t even decide what to write about because all of the sets are so cool! They are creative and colorful and so fun to watch! Great job Brady!!! ^_^
I thought that Domino Projects 5 was difficult to top...but you definitely proved me waay wrong! :O Okay, here comes a clip by clip analysis because why not? 1. Introduction to the video: As it would end up happening regularly throughout the video, I was mindblown by the color combinations. From the huge cube, to the rainbows, to those satisfying letters, to that amazing 8 field design, I ended up expecting quite a lot after seeing this amazing prelude to the whole thing. 2. Really liking how you put various different amazing color combinations, and how you use different tricks in such a small space. Liked that nifty little triangle XD 3. Octagon wall: The way you toppled it was incredibly creative, and nice touch on putting colors in the middle of a black-and-white structure :D 4. You used even better tricks than usual, which is saying a lot. But, about the part when it flowed through your room, I did NOT see that coming. That seems really smart, and made this be one of my favorite clips. 5. Liked your usage of structures! :D And the way of triggering the last one was really creative, I'll try that someday! :D 6. Liked how you revisited the idea of going through the building area! :D It's pretty big compared to mine XD Nice job! 7. I remember that clip XD The circle bomb was amazing, and the beginning was creative! :D Loved the chaotic style of this! :D 8. Probably the best color combination in the whole video. Also liked your usage of different size dominoes and the line inside the wall! 9. It was nice to see a space change XD Loved how you used the sink in the setup, and how this had a more minimalistic but well-suited color combination XD 10. Reminds me of one of the clips on my 145K domino video, but obviously done waay better XD It was really satisfying! XD 11. Loved how this project had separate sections, and how big it was. One of my favorite clips of the whole video XD Even the field was amazing! :D 12. Loved the kinda modular style of this clip, and how it had so well-defined squares XD I do remember how it failed in the exact same way that a setup of mine had failed the exact same day XD However, this was the best design. 13. Great variety of colors, and a nice detail for your mom! A perfectly great ending for an amazing video! :D Overall, this is the best domino video I've seen in a while. And that's saying a lot, because I'm subscribed to around 320 builders XD Keep the great work coming, Brady! :D
Thank you so much for the analysis Alejandro! So great to hear the specific parts of what people liked. I’ll reply to each individual comment you left soon!
Okay I’ll start my reply: 1. Thank you so much! The reason I base the first screenlink on beautiful effects is to persuade non-domino builders to continue watching since they don’t understand more complicated stuff :P 2. ayyy I’m glad you like the color combos. I’m working towards being one of the best color users in the community :D I’m glad you liked it! 3. Thank you so much! And it was actually a hexagon wall, with the hexagonal things from the triangular structure. :o 4. This is probably my favorite setup of the video. I’m really glad you liked it! I think that it’s really fun to be caught off guard thinking the setup is over but actually there’s more to it :D 5. Thank you so much! Ya I can’t wait to get my new launchers to make more launching things because honestly I love seeing things launch so much :D 6. Hehe credit to twig for that idea :D thanks! 7. Thanks! Still sad that the cat knocked the circle field over :P 9. Thank you so much! I really want to use that space again in dp7 10. Hehe I guess it is the type of thing that would fit into that video :D thank you! 11. Ya this one was supposed to be a 10,000 domino setup but suddenly I’ve lost my ability to build decently large setups so... :p 12. I’m sooooo happy with this one and how the thumbnail turned out too :D thanks! And lol that fail... I could have so easily prevented that :P whatever I guess 13. Thank you so much! Again, thank you tons for this analysis. its really cool to see a builder’s thoughts on every project of the video.
bpdoles I hope to post domino rally 9 soon, a year ago I made a bunch of setups for it but my schedule got hectic and I couldn’t build anymore and now my space is crowded so I don’t have a space lol. If my space clears up I’ll go back to bring a part time builder. This is the first domino video I’ve watched in a bit and it made me miss building so much. I’m jury busy with school and track and cross country so I have not much free time at all unfortunately. Great hearing from you again.
Nice job! How did you get the dominoes to fall so slow, what gives you the ideas to build those things? And I’ve found it’s really hard to gain more subscribers with domino videos how did you did it?
Thank you so much! To make dominoes fall slower I always like to alternate between standing up and sideways dominoes, it’s very reliable. as for the ideas, sometimes it takes me so long to think of something but once I do I’ll test it a bit and then once I’m confident it will work I’ll start putting it into the project/setup. My best advice to gain more subscribers is to stay super active on other builders channels, commenting on videos and such. That worked for me when I was starting out as a builder. Your builds are really good so I think it will be a lot easier for you since you already got the skill to build impressive projects so lots of people will certainly check you out and subscribe :) thanks for the comment!
This is AMAZING and o be honest I build and think about making my style similar to 3 people: hevesh5 flippycat and you. Your color combinations are amazing and I love your videoed. Keep it up!
Thank you so much Miracle Whip! I’m really happy that you mentioned my color combinations, as I put a lot of effort to make sure that they’re really good, so I’m glad you think so. I’m honored to be one of the people that you take the most inspiration from :D
actually kind of a funny story... I spilled apple cider around there and didn’t think much of it, but there were apple cider on the dominoes that stopped for 5 seconds 😂
I can explain. Some of those dominoes had apple cider stuck to them which sorta glued them to the ground. Because of this, those dominoes stopped but apple cider isn’t strong so they kept going :D
@@bpdolesdominoes4 Of course, earlier Markichev 23 (Russian: Маркичев 23). Very soon there will be new videos on my new channel, instead of a blocked channel!!!
Have You seen my new domino video video ??? Perhaps "bpdoles" might if you have than you Know that I used launchers too possibly even more powerful ones aswell because I used Very heavy domines I may be one of the first But I am Definitely Not the last But I Am the first Who Made a Vertical Laucher that can destroy very tall towers
