You earned the tag, even if I hit putts I still would’ve been 2-3 strokes behind you, I can honestly say hole 8 changed the the whole card! You parked it and everyone else had an upshot ! It was an uuh ohhh moment!
I keep score with the pen and notepad that I keep in the storage box built into the jogging stroller “cart” I bought at a yard sale. Yes, it was partly because it was easier than previously carrying discs in a tool bag, which currently is an excellent disc storage option. And I putt with a Judge and the Justice is my overstable mid. But mostly that’s because I buy only used discs, and those were in the used bin at PIAS in almost new condition. What annoys me (or more accurately, it amuses me) is the one guy in our group who always seems to ask around the 13th hole “what’s my score?”. And then he tries to verbally recreate his round, asking the rest of us things like “did I birdie on 7?”
My favorite realization was when I found my first Anvil. I always bagged a Harp or Tactic, but when they got beaten-in and became straighter flying discs, a 4 fade approach beefcake was the perfect pairing instead of just trying to buy a new Harp/Tactic. Now I have the Peppermint for that slot! A great 1-2 punch for your normal Zone, Harp, Tactic kind of approach disc.
if you cant throw a Destroyer over 400ft you dont need one.. Star Jay for flippy mid , champion glowRocx3 for perfectly stable mid and star Caiman for over stable mid.. i throw the star corvetter when i need max distance which my current max is 600ft on the nose.
Got a top 25 tag out of around 400 total tags. Went to one bag-tag round every week for seven straight weeks and I was the best tag every single time. I’ll show back up when those 22 higher tags finally show their faces!
90% of the golfers at my greasy courses have zero etiquette, and are annoying AF! Tbh most people irritate the f*ck out of me. So, I play solo now. Just me vs the course, and thats how I like it.
I don't understand how this video went from talking about how to be a good card mate, to trash talking a dudes bag because they don't throw what you like. Let people throw what they want to throw. trashing certain discs seems to be a common theme on this channel though. BTW, the justice and the jarn are very different, I'll stick with the zone and the justice.
I only have 2 Champion Destroyers one 170 gram where from early 2010's around where disc was originally too stiff legally before I accidentally did a hot car to disc and a 2015--2016 disc 167 grams where I can use disc in driving if I Power up on mold like for very windy days. I keep mold for winds when I should not be playing or for spike up and over shots. I like more a Valkyrie Champion Glow and Star or an oop Archon 166 gams in Star F2 (have backups around 165 grams) as well as a 0/no glide Champion F2 for almost all higher winds steady past 25--26 mph or 41 Kph and some courses needing an exact backwards S line Valkyrie shot on specific holes. I do have Pre, modern flight number Stalkers for more normal winds and not needing a Valkyrie line. I mistake buy of 8 extra Stalker as I switched from recently oop XL when old stamp run was being sold off thinking all OS Midrange were being removed from Discraft lineup because Paul McBeth said he had no use for a 7--9 speed fairway driver and a bunch of molds were Discontinued at same time.
