You are brainwashed my brother. All religions symbolize chemical reactions inside of the body and teach us how to achieve pure blissful consciousness. The people who wrote these books wrote them in a way where they could be taken literally, or metaphorically and allegorically. If you take it literally (like we do in modern age today) you completely disregard everything it is trying to say. For instance, jesus “walking on water” is symbolism for being above your emotions. being a “shepard of your sheep”, means being in control of your thoughts. Nothing is to be taken literal in that book. Jesus Christ is the same thing as Krishna in hinduism. Its all the same thing trying to tell you how to become enlightened. look up William Donahue on youtube and your life might actually start changing. Or stay close minded, its up to you. I grew up way deeper in the religion then you, alter boy for 5 years, bible school, everything. Fortunately I learned to think for myself and realize whats going on.
