My 44 that I designed for slowpitch came out beautiful and is a very good quality glove but....I coach high-school aged kids in 16u travel ball and I've broken in 3 different 44gloves for 3 different people within the last 6 months and all 3 gloves were of different quality. One kid ordered a pitching glove with a 1pc web and the glove came out like 💩. The materials didn't feel as good. The glove felt super soft, and the leather especially in the palm, felt so thin. Not a huge deal if he only uses it to pitch but still stinks. Next kid ordered a 1st base mitt. Glove actually came out well. It feels good after breaking it in but just wish their 1st baseman mitts weren't so narrow compared to like a rawlings but that's more of a pattern issue. I broke it in with 2hinges. The glove swallows the ball and does a good job funneling the ball down to the pocket, I just wished it was a little wider. The 3rd glove was another slowpitch glove a buddy ordered and the glove came out completely meh. It felt better than the pitchers glove but didn't feel as high quality as mine or the 1st base mitt. One thing I do know is that the the kid who ordered the pitchers glove did not order pro stiff and either did my buddy who plays slowpitch so I do think one way to help to try and lessen the risk of a subpar glove is to order pro stiff which now I think the option is super stiff/90% player break-in. Just my 2cents, sorry for the long comment lol
The 10u team I coached loved throwing with me and my 44 because of the pop it has. Said it made them feel like they were throwing gas 😂. The pop is real, I love it too.
Could you possibly do some more videos on first baseman gloves like this one, with like best ways to break it in, best way to hold it (normal, 2 or maybe even 3 in the pinky) and things like that. Love the videos my man!
Just started watching you a few months ago but already my favourite youtuber. Also I just started to like actually think about how my gloves shaped - thanks to you. So much better with 2 in the pinky 2 hinge 😂. I play outfield and it makes such a big difference. Love the vids!!!
Pleeease do the Nokona Bloodlines they’re so expensive but really intriguing I think it would so helpful for people since there are almost no recent or in depth Nokona reviews and they’re barely in any stores
I’m having trouble breaking in my 44 first base mitt I can squeeze it a little bit but not nearly enough to game it do u have any tips to help me break it in?
I would love to see a review of the R9 Pro (R9PNA28). A comparison between that and the Gamer XLE and some 44 pros would be awesome. Love the videos keep up the good work.
Hey ballglove king i thought of it i think im getting the bad quality glove since i just play baseball for a hobby and I’m still in school pls tell me exactly how to break it in I remember the time you replied to my comments i told my mom the youtuber i watched finally replied to me thanks for the tutorrial vids btw

Can u send me a glove I like all of our vids and I live in the Chicago area and I’ve played at the field that you recorded the vid on its mcasslin park and it’s turf
Man you got Wilson’s way too high in my book that’s another glove for fan boys you loved or they are meh. Hard to break in uncomfortable heavy and the laces suck. They are B status at best and that’s the A2K’s they are also way over priced. So glad my sons finally listened and stop doing what the other kids were doing and both switched to Rawlings. Hands down best gloves in the game for every position.
Ball glove king I was wondering if you could send me a glove because my baseball season is about to start and I can’t afford one so please can you send it me one
