Yep did this incorrectly with high weight and injured my lower back. It will take like 2-3 months of not working out and doing all sorts of things, so guys make sure to do it properly with appropriate weight
@@tijmen131it’s not bad at all. People just need to work on mobility and flexibility. I learned the hard way and now I can squat and leg press with no pain and still incorporate knee flexion while doing the exercises.
I once saw a guy snap his leg on this machine- he was too irresponsible, did ego lift and was loud and also locked his legs. I was one of the two dudes in the whole gym who ran to his rescue and we saved his other leg but his left one just snapped clean opposite ways, like a bicep curl lol. He cried so much and almost passed out His knee was bleeding and we could see laceration I have never touched this machine since that day I know it may sound silly to many but when you have seen this happen in front of you, it can affect you
Noel, I honestly don't know where I would be without you. Your videos always gave me a smile during difficult times and keep motivating me. Thank you so much for everything you have done 💪

This is a late comment, but I appreciate this. I’m new to the gym, and once I hit the ability to rep out 340lbs on the leg press, I felt my lower back have a tad bit of pain initially. Thanks for saving the future me, Noel.
Yes please guys listen to noel, I made this mistake and I've been injured for a year now and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Please guys don't make this mistake the pain is unimaginable.
Guys, listen to him. I did lift up my hips once too far, during the leg press, instead of sitting still and not ego lifting. And through that I tore the cartilage that was attachted around my intervertrebral disc. The pain was tremendous and I had problems with my lower back over six months. Since than I never actually ego lifted. I learned my lesson the hard way.
Thank you so much! My back was killing me after leg press, and I had to stop that for some time, now I know what I was doing wrong, I'm gonna use this technique now
Noel I just want to say thank you for getting me into working out Ive been going for a few months and it is brilliant I really hope you keep posting you are genuinely changing peoples lives
Hey man, just also wanted to say that on February 1st, it has been 1 year since I started working out. I’ve gained about 30lbs of muscle with some fat of course but muscle nonetheless. You were one of the first people I really listened to and trusted along with some others. Thanks man, I will continue to support you and be here every vid. Keep grinding brother, we all appreciate the work you put in. 😎👍
Dude that is awesome man. Way to nail it!!! That is no small task. Thanks for sharing. What was the hardest part and what motivated you to push through?
Hardest part was definitely realizing that eating in a calorie surplus is the only way to build muscle. Motivation was remembered all the times when I was a skinny kid lol. Thanks for asking man
Hey noel I tried your spinage and eggs wrap and it was very tasty honestly it wouldnt be a bad idea to open a restourant near a gym with this kind of food
i messed this up and have been unable to do any lower body pressing for nearly a month, unracking even light dumbells is a challenging and somewhat painful procces, even putting on SOCKS is a strenuous and painful ordeal
Please don't comment bad, I just need some audience, I'm medically low in testosteron only 94 ng/DL, I don't have money for supplements, diet and my tritment so I'm just lifting in my home to maximize my testosteron levels and lose some weight but it's hard for me because of my extremely low testosterone and I'm facing the side effects of it like men boobs, depression, stress lack of strength bad sleep etc please support me.
once i tried to use this kind of machine but i got stuck because my knees went back basically under my arms. my butt didn't lift, i became pretzel. i'm just fat jello at this point how tf do you work out when you're just... bendy
I wonder if this is a decent substitute for squats. I seem to have a lot of trouble with doing squats with proper form, so I consider doing leg press for a while until I have had a personal trainer check how I do the squats.
what if you really value the increased range of motion for the exercise?? leg press is my favorite thing to do at the gym i like to go all the way down and back up with power!
What should I do if I feel my belly being compressed with the movement before having a full range of motion? (It isn't that much belly but definetly not a comfortable feeling)
I've had the same issue. Adjusting the backrest,if it has one that's adjustable, has helped me and a wider leg stance. Would definitely like to hear Noel's advice on it.
In the beginning God created Heaven and Earth. He created humans too to have a relationship with Him. That's our purpose as humans that have a relationship with God. Sin, however, messed that up because it made us imperfect and imperfect creatures cannot have a relationship with a perfect and holy God. That's why we so oftentimes feel empty, unsatisfied and unaccomplished because we're not in relationship with the God we were created to be in a relationship with. But that's where Jesus comes in. Jesus is God's son and He came down to earth in human form to live the same life we do yet unlike us He never sinned. Jesus is perfect. Yet despite the fact He is perfect He died on the cross for our sins and sacrifice Himself for us. The punishment for our sins is death but because Jesus took that punishment for us if we put our faith in Him and receive Him as Lord and savior we can be reconciled to God and be restored to that relationship we were created to have. And we can be sure that Jesus is the Son of God because on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead and in that He defeated death and the grave, proving that He can do the same for us if we put our faith in trust in Him. That's how you get to Heaven. That's how you become full in your heart. That's how you become reconciled to the God who created you.
