After watching this video and spending time online, i snagged a deal for 250$ for some 3 months old Airpods Max, thankyou. I also got them checked out at the apple store near my house just for extra safety, but i was pretty much sure they were real after checking all your the things you pointed out.
I bought some really good replicas for $100, but the buttons click when you push them, the case is magnetic but its missing some of the details you described, and the quality of the audio was a giveaway. My Bose EarPods have that very deep noise cancellation and these do not have that depth. Either way, they are fine for my purposes but I wouldn’t mind having a real pair in the future…
@@TheEddykid yeah they’re all fakes. I even entertained one just for fun, the kid even let me open the plastic wrap, and everything this video described stood out, the clicking noise on the crown, the overall cheap feel of the cups not feeling like real metal, some things were really good fakes like the headband and it even had the torx screws he mentioned, but the dead giveaway was the quality of the crown and how flimsy it felt when you spin it and click it
@@carlosmelchor1491 hermano compre unos por facebook market y tienen todo lo que tienen los originales, menos ese agujero para desconectarlos. Así me di cuenta que eran falsos
Got scammed (France), check if the firmware is up to date, if you can't update it, it might be a fake. If you buy on vinted, you have 2 days to report ...
@@achilledupey1081 Bonjour, non car « ils ne peuvent rien faire » leur protection de l’acheteur c’est du flan. Vivement une action en justice contre cette entreprise !
? That video is about fake ones not used ones. Seriously, stop being so mimimi. Used ones are cheaper and are still and same quality (unless it’s broken)
@@Brasil_BR13 yeah but nevertheless I wanted to make sure the used ones I bought were real and not fake. So this video helped me a lot. Not that hard to understand is it?
Mine do everything that they suppose to do so I saved a bunch nothing fake about them to me , I want to thank the hustler that sold me mine I would feel like appled hustle me more if I would have paid that price ,
I have tried AirPods Max in the Apple brand store and I was pleasantly surprised in terms of comfort, sound quality, noise reduction, etc. It is an excellent product!👍
I'm not sure why I'm still watching this even tho I have Sony XM5 and Momentum 4 Senheiser already but, this is a good info tho. I might consider buying one 😅
My friend got scammed honestly it look the same feel the same at first also with its "noise canceling" it work like butter it almost the same even power off the headset when you put it on the case we just found put its fake when we need to repair it and even the employee had problems identifying its fake (when its code actually had a code in apple) they found out its fake when they open the headset itself
I bought a pair that even show up on find my, I contacted apple support and they said they were authentic. Serial number checks out all my pair is missing is the pin hole. Are they fake?
@@TwelveBravo the top was also able to be squished together and the buttons clicked. 🥲 pretty sure they’re fake but it’s ok I’m getting a refund from the scammer
Hi! Im going to meet someone from FB to check a pair out, could I send you the post and you give your thoughts as well? He’s letting me connect and pair them, but he claims he’s lost the box
That was added by Apple, but new headphones can easily bypass that. I recently bought a pair and they paired perfectly, showed they had Applecare+ and are still fake.
well I must of gotten lucky with mine, impulsively bought a refurbished pair for $350 off ebay and everything checks out with mine. it didn’t come with the box or case but i haven’t noticed a single red flag that they aren’t genuine!
Thank you for this video. I just got scammed by this young kid on Monday. Unfortunately where you succeeded, I failed. I now know to be smarter thanks to your tips,
thanks for helping me confirm that my wife's $350 great deal airpod Max from Poshmark of all places is definitely a fake. it fits almost every item that you mentioned for fates, especially the Philips screwdriver head
somebody bought a pair and "returned" the item, swapping it with a fake pair. If its a good fake, poshmark wont realize it is a fake and restock the returned item (and sell it later to an unfortunate buyer like you)
The fake looks and feels real🥺 i really thought mine is legit coz it says may name and airpod max and has find me too. Everything from the original they copied like the looks, its pretty heavy, it showed in the settings that like how my airpod pro looks like when u open it or remove from case and physically too itas like orginal :it has small hole when u remove the cuffs and all those prints and even siri works on it. How??? It gave away the case coz the inside is not suede but it has magnet and the stitching is good too. I guess it can pass as AA copy but wow🥳 they did very good how can these fakes show airpod max on my iphone 15 pro max is still boggles me.
My sister got scammed and bought really good fakes. They had a warranty, proper serial number and looked/felt similar to the originals. Even the sound quality and noise cancellation is decent. The rep at the Apple store also thought it was legit. We sent them in for repair because it was glitching and it turned out to be fakes.
Me too, they saw that the serial number corresponds to another color .. in china... It was detected and usable as normal airpods max, but unable to update firmware ...
Hi. I am thinking buying a pair but I’m not sure if they are real or not.Can you help me by giving your throughts of them if I send you the pictures .He is going to ship it to me with test and review.
I purchased mine second hand. This is how I found out mine was genuine. As soon as I bought them I tried linking them to my I pad. My headphones appeared in my settings immediately and after clicking on the icon it took me directly to the headphone settings which listed the following. Ie date of purchase and remaining warranty, the serial number and model number. This would not happen if they were fake.
Correct. I then took the details listed on my I pad and introduced them to the Apple verification site and it confirmed they were genuine. It would not confirm a fake pair.
@@colinnicol9447your wrong they clone the serial number from legit ones that happen to me with AirPods Pro 2 even show up with warranty and stuff but they are fake really good fakes but fake
