Don’t Make Mountains Out Of Don’t Make Mountains Out Of Molehills…
I was out “Moling”, as my wife calls it, around the neighborhood when my neighbor stopped to talk to me about a mole that he had in his yard. I had been by to check on it several times before and it was primarily making lots of molehills. He said it had disappeared for about a month but now it reappeared. It was bouncing back and forth between his and his neighbor’s yard. The yards were a mess but the mole hadn’t been surfacing very often to make trails. I was hoping eventually the mole was going to come to the top of the ground and start making some trails. I decided to swing back by and check the yard again. As I stood surveying over the area with my eyes I saw some trails… WELL THAT’S ENCOURAGING! The next thing I know I see the ground moving! There he was! I got into place to #PoundTheGround and the rest is in the video! These neighbors were very proud… Mission Accomplished! 💪🏻👊🏻🤠

Wow that's amazing, who needs store bought traps, very good job. I have a place in upstate NY and the ground has so many rocks in the ground. I'll break my hand doing what your doing. I might try a sledge hammer. Lol

I would definitely watch the rocks but you can do it! It’s all about learning where and when they are working. You walk down all the runs the night before and then the next morning you go out and check for any raised areas in the grass and if the dirt looks freshly excavated. Moles generally eat about every four hours so check the area for movement and if nothing then check it again every half hour or so. Once you see the ground moving very quietly walk up to that area. If you are not very careful the mole will hear you and stop working. Wait for movement again then stomp (or punch) right behind the mole then flip it out with a shovel, a mattock or your hand LOL 💪🏻. Remember to be careful as they do have 44 teeth and will bite depending on how you pick them up. Check out a couple of my tutorial videos on my page to show you how to do it! @@MOLiminator I was going to ask you about them biting, not sure what I have over here, don't really see trails but in some areas on the property there's raised dirt mounds. I think there pocket gopher's, then last time I was up I seen all holes in the ground anywhere from 3/4" to 1" all along a wooden fence line, maybe there voles doing that damage. I'm not sure exactly what I have, But you are good at that, I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for the hunting tips

You are correct you could have voles. You have to be really careful because they multiply fast and will do a lot of damage!

Sorry just saw this. You put a mousetrap at a 90 degree across their trail in the grass.
