Editing up the short now, that’s exactly what I did! Ran a cable through with a threaded eyelet on either side. Finally got the pressure to hold.

I cannot wait to swing my leg over!! With the mapping changes in the first few gears I am so curious to see how it rides!!!

Yes I did!! Didn’t have one on it originally so I I already have a new bolt and seals delivered from Honda. Good eye! You must know your bikes 🫡

I am normally a huge proponent of working on a clean bike; however, when filming for RU-vid, the more you can leave to be desired the better for the final reveal. Also, in the next video, we tear the bike down to the frame so cleaning it together would’ve just been a waste of time when I know I’ll get to clean each part individually and do a much better job

Great idea! I did consider welding and talking to a local RU-vidr who has a welding channel to help me out (I don’t own a welder yet) But I wanted to try just one more thing and it worked out! I used a cable with some threaded eyelets to tie both ends together. Thanks so much for the comment!

I did consider that, but thought I would try one more thing before investing in one of those kits. Plus, they are really meant for two-stroke pipes that are a bit thinner and require less pressure. if you take a look at my next video you can see how we finally get it done 😎
