I subscribe to several automation channels, but yours is the only one that grabbed my interest enough to become a paying member. Your enthusiasm comes out in your delivery, and you're not just reviewing some hardware; you're writing code and showing us how to use it. I am a professional software developer. I'm old school. I started working as a coder in 1967, writing assembler and COBOL for the IBM 360 mainframes, and while most of what I do now is manage, I still love code. I've been into home automation since the X10 days. It's always great to see another Black man into high tech.

I was blown away when I first stumbled upon one of your videos a few months ago. Connecting LLM ai and home automation is fascinating. It is niche and a fun toy right now, but someday I think it will be huge and mainstream. Thanks for the great content.

I like the channel because of the ideas that come about. They don't always have to be 5-star ideas but getting the thougts and ideas out may spark an interest in someone else. I've always said it to you and compliment you on how you take a more intermediate to advanced look at automations. I feel like there is a lot of content out there, it's good, but it's two beginner. that video editing was fantastic, i am jealous of your skills. i would be down for a membership if we could vote for the features we would like to see / implement / create every month or something. for example... step by step tutorials on how to install and configure face recognition to frigate and then pass the data to AI so that it can produce useful notifications via it's choice of media... for example... if i am out in the garden and my phone rings and my smart watch is not on me.... to flash red lights to the led strip i have outside... if i have my smart watch on me, then to send notifications to my watch or even TTS on my watch so that i can listen to it. i would like to get the notifications based on face recognition so that my home knows where i am not based on the ESP Presence but through my camera system
