@Bodwin Bodders I agree with you that Mark was a terrible person, but you can't say that his role on Glee didn't affect you. I think we should honor the role of Puck at least and forget who it was they played him.
I’m watching this on Netflix rn. But I had to appreciate the moment where Kurt sings low on purpose. Will laughs and then looks up. What a small but cute tribute to Finn(Cory)
One of the sadest thing about this moment is that it’s Finn who chose "Don’t stop believing" in episode 1.. so he pretty made the anthem of glee club ♥️
I cry like a baby everytime I see it. Not because many from Glee died. Just because it's so nice to see what and who they are there and to then think about what they have gone through for this incredible experience. 😭😭
At 1:55 in the back you can see Naya accidentally hit Darren in the face and at 1:57 she’s holding his face making sure he’s okay. She’s so sweet. RIP angel 🕊❤️
Actually Rachel sings Finn's part, as a tribute to him I believe, the writers and producers felt it was only right Lea sang Cory's part, so Kurt as Finn's brother sang Rachel's part, in his lower register as a small tribute as well.
I miss the original cast, where it all started, where sam loved mercedes, where finn and Rachel would mess up but make up afterwards, where Santana and Brittany where just discovering their love for each other, where Kurt hated Rachael then started being her best friend.I don't know why but I miss them a lot.I really do.
Olashile Sosanwo You do realise Cory Monteith, the actor who played Finn, died from a drug overdose. That's why his character wasn't on the show anymore
I know this is supposed to be an emotional performance and trust me I did cry but let's just take a moment to realize how hot Kurt looked and sounded while singing Finn's part.
Literally one of my favorite parts is 2:35, when Kevin does his "in the night" bit and you just see Lea's hand gesturing at him like "listen to this boy go"
@@ingrid9443 I don't think it was a singing pose. You can see in award shows also she genuinely likes to appreciate other people's (or her co-workers') talents
but at that point, it was so overused, and they can't do it twice in the finale. I think that I Lived was a good choice, because it's true. With every broken bone, they lived.
I love this version because I can hear Tina singing and Artie has beautiful runs. But it misses Finn, Santana, and Mercedes' magic in the regionals version.
I love at 0:39 when Will looks up for a second as if he's looking up to Finn in heaven and remembering when he was the lead man for the song. Super small tribute, but still touching AF
Ginny Weasly Is difficult to choose one. I love "Got to get you into my life" (and the kiss!) But I think my favorite is Perfect. Because is what Glee (and specially Kurt character) teach us, we are perfect just the way we are.
I just love how original 5 are dressed, and how their clothes represent origins of life.Tina in red dress, Kurt in blue shirt, and Artie in yellow sweater, like basic 3 colors, and then Mercedes in black and Rachel in white to represent absence and presence od light. It's so poetic and beautiful... just perfect! 🤩❤
she was always worried about bonking Darren and Kevin because they is small from what i gathered from behind the scences 5'8 and 5'7. but they be fine but she was always concerned about it. 5'5 Naya is slightly above what usa average was for female at time. and 5'7 and 5'8 slightly short for male. shrugs
i cried when they lifted that arm in a line like in the first version but this time the line they made was like three times longer and the camera had to turn to show all of them, it was really emotional to see how far they got
The way Will goes from looking at the OGs on stage to turning left and seeing the newcomers enter the auditorium was such a great moment 😭 My favorite performance in the show
So, everyone noticed that they have the original 6(minus Finn) at first on stage. But something I think people miss is that they also have all the s1 cast together before the others join. The O5+ Puck, Quinn, Santana, Brittany and Mike. They're all part of the original Glee club.
@@matheusrocha1084 Yeah, as much as he was just a background character, a small part of me wishes that he somehow got the news about Finn and came back. Yeah, he was really just a singing, dancing, puppet, but I still wish that they included him as well. It would’ve made this scene a bit better to have Will go and hug Matt like a brother.
I feel like this was actually a good conclusion for the series, you could tell they maybe wanted to end things here because they called back all the members from the previous seasons and everything, until glee was renewed for season 6. Not to bash on s6 or anything, but if this had been the end of glee, it would be a satisfying song to end with.
honestly (i could be 100% wrong) but i think this might have just been another tribute to Cory/Finn (while tying it into the plot of course) because the show had already been picked up for a 5th and 6th season.
I love the way Mr. Schue look up to the sky when he remember Finn's participation in the song. And I love too the way how Rachel/Lea sings Finn's part. It had to be so difficult to her. Remember that thanks to Finn's advice she got the Fanny Brice part in Funny Girl, by singing Don´t Stop Believing in the audition.
I think Kurt's low part was definitely a nod to Finn, but I want to remind everyone of something: Finn sang the first part, the part that Rachel sings here. I feel like it's a way of showing that his memory will always live on in her. Rachel will always carry on Finn's legacy.
@@annamartin9840 You know what would make this scene even sadder and more heart warming? What if a ghost version of Finn appeared and started singing along? That would bring the waterworks.
I like the contrast for rachel in this version. The 1st time they sang this in S1, she was belting it out and her voice pretty much drowned out all of the others even during the chorus. but now her voice was balanced perfectly with the others in the group. they were all equal
Just a small town girl livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere A singer in a smoky room The smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the nights Streetlights, people Living just to find emotion Hiding somewhere in the nights Working hard to get my fill, Everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice Just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some are born to sing the blues And now the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the nights Streetlights, people Living just to find emotion Hiding somewhere in the nights Don't stop believin Hold on to that feelin' Streetlight, people Don't stop believin Hold on to that feelin' Streetlight, people Don't stop!
3:11 always makes me so sad and happy at the same time. if you watch the original version of the song in s1, theres only like 5 people. but watching everyone else who joined walk up, wow. it really gets me.
Basically, cast members who weren't given much to do for the performance except Mike :(( Damn, I wish Quinn was given even just a little bit more exposure than the usual flying kiss.
glee has been a part of my high school life. I always dream to be like them and I joined choir 😁😁 I love this version so much also the original season 1. it's so sad Cory wasn't there :( the feel was different but this is good too 😊😊 i wish for another show like glee coming up
In group preformance when Artie kills it some how ppl never talk about him the worst which wasn't even group number technically a duet of control everyone has talking about Quinn's introduction it was fine but it didn't make or break anything.
What an absolutely perfect finale to Glee. Literally, I couldn't think of a better way for the series to end. Because this episode was the final episode. Season 6? Never heard of it. _This_ is the final episode of the final season, and I won't stop believing that.
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FINAL SONG :) GOOSEBUMPS UNTIL NOW!! I MISS FIN HUDSON... ARTIE'S VOICE IS VERY UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL... ALL THE CAST HERE ARE VERY TALENTED!!! I MISS GLEE... FOREVER IN MY HEART!!!
i absolutely love that will joined them up on stage and he sang and OH MY GOD his vocals are AMAZING!!!!! + i absolutely love will dancing he’s definitely got moves + he’s my fav character!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Am I the only one who is beyond grateful for glee it's like when I watch it, it reminds me that I belong it honestly doesn't feel like a show to me it helps me feel happier
I was waiting for Finn entrance. Then I remembered that is dead and I felt so sad. This song could never be the same without him. Glee could never be the same without him. He was so important and talented, his voice was beautiful and I miss him everyday. I miss the Original Six (Rachel, Finn,Kurt, Mercedes, Artie and Tina) and the first Glee Club. Don't Stop Believing is Glee's song and it would be forever. Rest In Peace Cory. Even if it's hard without you the show must go...all over the place...or something♥
