Love this idea! Immediately after watching I ordered some loose leaf Tomoe River paper on Amazon and rummaged through my folder full of cards. Can’t wait to make some notebooks!! ❤
Little Tomoe River notebooks!!! I forgot to mention that I made mine with heavier grade copy paper- works well with fountain pens! So glad you found this useful!!!😻😻😻
....sounds like a great way to present a card! I always tried to find ways to include parts of cards in crafts. Seemed a waste to throw such lovely designs away. And i like to gift useful things. A card journal with a nice pen (or pencil! I adore a good mechanical pencil) would be lovely gift. My neice loves to draw, and this seems a great way to share some of my loose leaf bristol! A few select prismacolor pencils i like to use in a travel pack and a new sharpener should give a budding artist some nice stuff to try. I can match colors to cards for later gifts, and maybe gift her a full set over time XDD Even a homemade recipe book would be nice! I might plan for something like that as a graduation gift. Included with in a more timeless card that might feel less silly on a shelf over time XD
Ohhh! I love these ideas!!!! You’ve got me thinking too! Of course, I would vote for the little card notebook with a fountain pen! The watercolor paper is really why I started making this- I needed a little watercolor journal to keep in my purse for urban sketching and didn’t want to spend any money! Now I’m making all kinds of little notebooks! It’s a great way to build up a little stash and keep handy for yourself or as quick gifts like you mentioned! Thanks so much for watching!💝💝💝
