Hey REM - Nice to see and hear about some of your "problem" trees. Something we can all relate to !! Blows my mind that September is just around the corner. The JB I got from Epicenter is coming around and looks much healthier, albeit still small. The JB I got from you is going strong in a 25 gal pot and is about 8 feet tall now. Can't wait to get it in-ground.
@@GrowsGoneWild I've been told they propagate their own but they also get avocados from other growers. Sometimes I'll see la Verne and clonal Brokaw there but most are theirs. I used to hold on a long time but now as long as I got another backup of the same variety, it makes it easy to pull them out. It's all about not wasting time and water on something that will probably die. Thanks for watching!
The last avos I planted were seeds that germinated in mulch under my trees just to see if they fruit if not I'll graft em. I'm just doubling up on varities I like, Reed, Pinkerton, Lamb, Wertz. Thx for the update.
@@omilu808 about 1 1/2 years old, I can't wait, I've heard they taste great. It started as a super small graft so I'm sure it will take some time to mature and eventually get fruit. Thanks for watching!
