Yes because convicted felon Grandpa Donald would never spend time with his family. Joe will have plenty of time for his law-Biden family after his second term ends in January 2029.
Many of us were “forgotten” by Biden after Trump annihilated us monetarily and emotionally by his abusive narcissistic Presidency, not to mention the loved ones lost. Biden is a great improvement from Trump, but not a savior!
Im over here in Australia 🇦🇺 watching very carefully what's happening with your country. I have to say that I'm aghast at your medical health system.... no... that's a lie.... I'm aghast at your legal and political systems as well
WTH is 2 federal & 1 midterm election going to do????? You don't understand how we got here. IF the rest of you had voted down ballot blue since you started voting--- WE WOULDN'T BE HERE NOW!! They aren't going away!! And neither are they turning normal. Go read Project 2025. That plan is already in motion!;!!
That's because it's not "health care" it's a for-profit SICK treatment insurance based system. I've traveled the world and we're the only country that treats its population like this. It's disgusting.
We never should have set up a system in which insurance companies are middle men who siphon profits from the system. These parasites deny life saving care far too often. Why? Because it threatens their profits.
It's the only chance we have at this point however the insurance companies have already started to infiltrate Medicare so that they have created a for-profit Medicare system in the event that we do Medicare for all.
Medicare ain't free and the problem is a lot of people think it is. First, the monthly premium is pretty steep and seniors are forced to buy supplemental policies to ensure comprehensive health coverage so you won't be bankrupted if you get really sick. Second, Medicare is being paid for by tax payers. You have a Medicare deduction taken out of every paycheck. Seniors on Medicare would say that they've been paying for their " free" health insurance their entire working life and continue to pay for it with expensive premiums.
Diagnosed with two kinds of cancer at age 65, I am blessed to be covered by Medicare. My medical bills, all paid for, have exceeded 1 million dollars by quite a bit. Without MC, I would be bankrupt (even with private insurance) and/or dead.
If insurance companies were not involved it would not cost a million dollars for anybody there would not be absorbent healthcare costs that would allow the insurance company to skim from the public and steal from the public coffers.
That is great. I certainly wish the best for you. What I do not understand is how everyone praises Medicare. I am almost 69 and have been on Medicare *administered through* Blue Cross/BlueShield of Michigan. My wife and I pay, collectively, around $900 per quarter for Medicare, and yet, we *still* need to ration necessary doctors visits. WITH Medicare, I had my routine colonoscopy w/lab analysis, which STILL ends up costing me hundreds of dollars to the doctor, the medical facilities for the test, the lab test. Where does Medicare save us any money or anxiety? I go in for a yearly wellness check, and should expect a routine cardiogram once a year to be included in a wellness check, I get hammered for that extra cost in addition to wellness check co-pays/co-insuranace fees. I would hesitate to get an MRI if I needed to for fear it would cost me 400-500 dollars or more out-of-pocket. I really don't see where the benefits of Medicare lie; it certainly hasn't benn my experience. The only time I had good coverage--the coverage EVERYONE should have via a universal healthcare system--is when I was working full time and my employer _through our union bargaining_ had great coverage. We had low copays (20 dollars per office visit or less,), and if we need surgery, hospitalization or virtually any tests, they were call 100 percent covered by insurance. This is what we need from Medicare, something I am not getting by it.
Same here. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield, now Highmark, & my surgery for ovarian cancer 3 yrs ago cost 1/4 million. I'm now 75 next month, & they have never tried to avoid paying for anything or denied meds.
I went to Washington DC with hundreds of nurses to speak to our congress on Healthcare for all Americans. However, Senator Rick Scott was the person my state senator I was set with appointment to discuss our Healthcare dilemma in Florida...he wouldn't meet with us. Neither would Rubio
Try calling Rubio. Won't do you any good. He doesn't even have an answering service. But he still keeps getting the votes. And prior to his election as FL gov, Rick Scott's company was found guilty of the greatest Medicare fraud in our history. He claimed, as CEO, he didn't know what was going on & he walked away "Scott" free.
Of course they won't meet. Healthcare for "normal" people isn't a priority for them. Remember, they're in the party of "We're Not Responsible For You". They're corporatists.
It's not free, we pay via taxes cutting out the banksters. Why is getting your boss to be in charge of your families health care considered freedom. It's just a matter of time till he will replace u with a robot. I'm Canadian, love our system
Even developing countries have better health care systems, and all their people are covered by the public systems. There are usually private systems as well, that cost more, but often the smaller issues are paid out of pocket because they are quite cheap. A doctor appointment is around $40 to $50. Plus, the country I am in, often you contact doctors directly on WhatsApp, and they will often come to your house. Appointments are not rushed like in the states. Many prescriptions are available over the counter without prescriptions. The quality of care is quite good, but like in the states, you ask around for referrals to get the best ones. Is it perfect? No. But I’ll take it over tge states any day.
Yes I agree I moved out of the US when I turned 70 and I get better health care here where I live now for at amuck lower cost. If the country I love in now can make sure that everyone can afford health care then so Can America
When the ACA passed was so happy being self employed couldn't afford healthcare then found out Kansas wouldn't do it here had to wait till i got Medicare to this day no ACA in Kansas vote BLUE if you don't voting against your own best interest
ACA is better than nothing, for middle-income, but if you're really poor, temporarily out of work, etc., you're not eligible. We need a system that covers every person regardless of income, employment, etc.
I was watching President Trump’s rally speech and: “what does Electric Car and Shark has to do with the policy if he is re-elected?” Is he ok? Dementia?
@@susankilleen2011 He says nothing at his rallies, He is such a crybaby, He is not the strong man they think he is . he is a sniveling little weakling. JUST SAYING...
So, they fear Democratic Socialism but they're willing to accept Authoritarianism. Well voters, the ball is in your court, show them what the difference is.
I am a senior living in Ontario. I have OHIP government health insurance. am 84 and cost the system for fantastic, doctors, tests, etc. private public services are a fraud if they can't deliver better for less. GOP does not work for the people. why?
I was in Paris and got a strep throat. I went to the local hospital and they sent me to a nurses office nearby. She gave me a shot of antibiotics. I tried to pay her and she was very upset. She yelled at me, “healthcare is a human right, not a privilige.” Me being American, I still tried to leave her 100 Euro’s, she said, “Americans”, threw the money back @ me and walked out.
If I know anybody that stays home on election day.I will no longer talk to them.I know it's still right, but everything's on the line. Please go out and vote
That's completely cool to say.... I no longer speak to Trumpers... unless to shame shame them.... It's the only emotion that I can provide that has any use for them..
Good point.... E Jean only had to get raped 1x for 90 million. Melania had to endure serial rape and won't get that much... I am not overlooking that both have endured public humiliation.
Insurance companies are middlemen that are partially responsible for prices being as high as they are. They're investment corporations masquerading as insurance companies. No doubt for-profit hospitals are also responsible for increased costs.
@@JeffBostick222I'd like to correct you the insurance companies are not partially responsible they are solely responsible for the fact that we do not have free medical Healthcare in this country. Other countries do not allow insurance companies to get between your doctor and your patient. They are skimming Healthcare dollars including from Medicare in the form of Medicare Plus.
@@jaygatz4335 I think she kidnapped her boss. She threatened to get out her gun and change him from a rooster to a hen with one shot. I think that is communicating threats. I think she used that same threat to get the pardon. I also heard she may have been on the pot. Her coworker’s son said his whole stash was missing. His mother would not identify the perp. Too much? 🤭
As Australians, we have enjoyed free access to hospital care since 1973. Everyone pays a small percentage of their income to the government for this privilege. We also have the option of paying a health insurance company for coverage of things like private rooms and to jump the waiting lists for operations, etc. Wealthy people who don't take this option also pay a surcharge to the government. It's not perfect, but overall, it works. And at least no one in Australia dies in the street or is buried in debt because they can't afford health insurance. It amazes me that half the population of the US could be convinced to vote against a system like this. Especially the very people that would directly benefit.
Thank you David for restating what should be so obvious, how the poor and middle class in this country and especially the south are treated so unfairly. Your concise, convincing, and compelling.
In Australia my stage 3 prostate cancer was cured for free!! Operation alone worth $30,000, plus > 24 months consults. Then there is the free radiology, etc etc...... USA, the richest country on earth cant do this for their people??WT....?
My bi-annual ureteral stent replacement is $50,000 ea. It is a fairly simple operation that takes less than 30 min. Why so much?? Because healthcare is a for profit huge business in the US.
If you lived in a country that provided medical health care for free ,, obviously building a military to protect yourselves from an imaginary enemy when the real enemy to america is its own citizens ,,, you don't think that money collected from its own citizens maybe be better spent on its citizens ,,, just a thought
Americans people go to the moon and mars, but if someone says Obamacare republicans go to hell - why. If just a small portion of the space budget goes to Obamacare it would change everything for the better.🤠🤠🤠
We don't need to cut anything that we do in the form of national defense or space exploration which leads to the invention and development of wonderful technology that helps mankind. We need to get insurance companies out of the medical industry and turn the medical industry back into healthcare. Just like most if not all countries in the developed world. I've traveled all over the world and we are an embarrassment.
@@Michael_Dominicforget cutting both of those and instead eliminate the insurance companies and reform capitalism. Mike David says we have a form of financial system called vulture capitalism. It is inhumane.
Love your sense of humor. They crack me up all the time. Thanks for all you do my man, it’s greatly appreciated more than you could ever know. VOTE BLUE so we can get these maniacs out of office for the security of our Democracy!
Where I live, everyone's state of health is taken care of by the authorities (free of charge) and everything treated is the same for everyone from our King to Jørgen the Hatter, as are schools and universities and more. We have no corruption in any part, we pay tax, but we know we will get an equal share for all the country's citizens. In America you call it communism, but that's as far away as it gets. Most importantly we are all happy most of the time and wish nothing bad on citizens who vote for different parties than you or I. We are all very rich with a very good pension for life. Sanders had the right ideas, but you didn't value reason and chose selfishness/chaos.
What is the weight, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels of the average 40 year old in each "red" state? While these state's representatives get government-funded medical care, they deny their citizens basic care.
I don't live in the US and I don't have health insurance. I pay out of pocket when i need to see a doctor. And I can afford to pay. Covid shots are free so is flu shots. I have a heart condition and I can afford to pay out of pocket for the past 13 years to see my heart doctor 2 times a year or when needed. Shame shame on America the richest country in the world that cannot afford health care for everyone.
I Watch you everyday. I'm a New Yorker too! You are a true NY"er 😂😂 I LOVE IT! I will be on that zoom call the night of debate! Man, Thank you for being True!!
Universal Healthcare is a big commitment. Rich people don't want to pay the taxes required they'll invest in control of the government through lobby groups. You need to get rid of lobbying and raise taxes on the rich. Swimming upstream in America. Media would need to get on board.
I love listening to David Feldman while drinking my coffee in the morning. I am so happy about the free transcripts and wiĺl be purchasing some merch from th e store to keep this going. I believe David is the only commentator that actually lets us know we can email him if we can not afford to pay money to participate in the debate via zoom on June 27, 2024.
Medical debt on credit report is hallmark of runaway ruthlessness of the unbridled capitalism Many are silently suffering enduring whatever they can because astronomical healthcare costs
Between the weak and the strong, it is liberty that oppresses and it is the law that protects. My free transnationale of J.J. Rousseau. So republicans in name of liberty abolish regulations that protect the weak. The billionaires don´t need regulations they can buy protection.
That's brilliant, David! We have every right to question indecipherable medical bills. I didn't have insurance and had to pay for two CT scans out-of-pocket, at $1,300 each. When I had insurance and needed a CT scan, the hospital accepted $500 from the insurance company. What BS! They're killing us, one way or another.
Donald went back to the crime scene. He was at the capital last week Imagine that and they welcome him with open arm When people were killed in that building including capital police officers My daughter is a police officer that puts her life on the line every single day for us I take this personal.I want this lunatic and jail immediately Not tomorrow not next week not next month But immediately
As a retired 50 yr nurse I remember when I had my children when I got my bill I was shocked. As a nurse I knew immediately what I received and didn't receive. Yes they made it gd but I immediately thought about all the people who goes in and out and I realized how people were getting screwed and stolen from and that was 1970 this is why we see big fancy hospital's. It's the people who have paid for that. I am for Heath care for all
This is the first time I am watching your videos. It is refreshing to hear someone speaks using the type of language that shows the severity and honesty of what is and has been happening in America to Americans. If more of us speak up in this manner, we can generate the inner strength and vision necessary to turn things around.
