@Nhyan1918 I've been a believer for over 60 years. As a military brat, I've been to churches all over the states and in Germany. My mother was, and her family and so on since the 30s. The only persecution my family dealt with was being black, not a believer. The white folk I worshiped with weren't persecuted either. I can understand that there may be some, but as a rule. I do not. Where is this coming from, and from who? I'm wondering if it's where you live because I've never had to deal with it.

I remember churches being closed down for about 2 straight years - but at the same time BLM & Trans people were allowed to march, congregate in large #s, etc...My rural, mostly white Christian public school refused to let my kids sing Christmas songs. they had to sing Hannukah songs. they are denied the right to have a Bible study extra curricular group, but must learn the Pillars of Islam during class time. We have had people barge into churches, causing destruction over the Roe v.Wade issue....smaller incidents than losing one's life for sure. But that is where it starts.
@@pattyhansen7563 Churches were closed for the same reason our kids weren't in schools and businesses weren't open. Because of covid. You know when people were dying. My minister upped the video game and we had church at home. Then everyone wore a make. Being enclosed in a building is different than meeting outside, doesnt matter the color of your skin. I think some schools stopped the Christmas programs because it was infringing on other whw didn't do Christmas. Because we're getting more people from other countries. I remember learning about other religions in high school. I graduated in 74. But it had nothing to do with no Christianity, but to learn about the world at large. I think the other is where you lived. Anyone here and carry a Bible to school, no one stops you from praying or not standing for the flag. Those aren't persecutions, those are changes because the world has changed. One thing we learned here is that parents were upset that kids couldn't have after school religious groups on the campus. I wasn't one to vote for that. But many did. Well, it opened the door to other religious groups that weren't wanted. We had a big push to have Satanists on campus. Took awhile but we got them out, along with the Bible. You can't force people to accept Christianity. It has to be left as a choice. You know, like God did. Open your home to a religious group if you want. A Bible coffee shop. There are ways to meet that doesn't have to squash others rights.
